Outreach/Hospitality Ministry is focusing on the corporal and spiritual works of mercy, one of which is to “Clothe the naked”. We will be collecting new and used shoes for Soles4Souls. Since 2006, Soles4Souls has diverted 42 million pounds of shoes and clothes from landfills and helped provide shoes for those in need in the U.S. and around the globe. Any sizes or styles of new or gently used shoes are needed. We are collecting them in the tub in the back of church. Thanks for your help.

PROJECT ANDREW EVENT for YOUNG

MEN IN HIGH SCHOOL:

AN INVITATION FROM JESUS CHRIST

TO “Follow Me”

Jesus Christ is calling you to follow Him. It’s a fact. The question which remains is – What does that look like for you! What is it about a relationship with Jesus Christ that has the power to transform a boy into a man – a man who is willing to lay down his life for his friends – as a spiritual father and priest? Join Archbishop Joseph Naumann, Vocation Director Fr. Dan Morris, seminarian George Rhodes, and area priests as together we unpack those two simple but life-giving words of Jesus: “FOLLOW ME” (Matthew 4:19). PROJECT ANDREW will include a witness talk from an area high school senior,, and how he has gone about discerning his vocation these past 4 years, a seminarian, insights and highlights from a day in the life of one of our newly ordained priests, and Archbishop Naumann will share his wisdom while leading us in a time of Eucharistic Adoration. Parents are WELCOME and STRONGLY ENCOURAGED to attend. New this year is an invitation to journey with the Vocation Director and area priests in a regular meeting at Good Shepherd Parish in Shawnee. PROJECT ANDREW is Sunday, Sept. 27 from 1-4Pm at Prince of Peace in Olathe OR ATTEND Oct. 4 at St. Joseph in Topeka. Register at https://www.archkck.org/page.aspx?pid=877, or email [email protected] or call 913-647-0303.
