Role:Inclusion staff will support and foster inclusive experiences for participants livingwith disabilities/specialneeds within Department of Recreation programs. Inclusion staff will provide one on one support to participants who have high needs (not including respite/personal care).

Recreation Counsellors Role:Recreation Counsellors must be energetic and enjoy working with children (ages 6-12 years) or youth (ages 12-14 years) in a leadership role. Duties include: implementing a variety of recreational activities, asoutlined by supervisors, enhancing program content through building on participant interests and directlysupervising program participants. Recreation Counsellors must possess a strong sense of safety awareness, good oralcommunication,customerserviceskills,andgoodproblemsolvingability.

Camp ExploreThis Camp includes supervised exploration and hiking with a focus on nature appreciation and outdoor pursuits such as canoeing and archery.

Camp Explore Sports
This camp offers children a sampling of sports for participants to learn new skills in a non-competitive environment.

These programs offer a wide variety of games, sports, creative arts and special guests. Full day programs are offered at all three sites. Lunch supervision is not provided.

Role: Toassistinthedevelopment,deliveryandevaluationofthesummerbusoutingprogramforolderadults.Dutiesinclude:bookingandpreparingforoutings;organizingoutingactivities;ticketsalesandregistration;organizingand supervising volunteers; providing program leadership and supervision of participants during outings;ensuringthesafetyofparticipants;assistingandsocializingwitholderadultsduringoutings;completingvariousreports. Must have an interest in working with seniors.
