EXTRAORDINARY MINISTERS OF HOLY COMMUNION: There will be an

informa7on and training session for all those who currently are, or who wish to

become, an Extraordinary Minister of Communion. It will follow Mass on either

Saturday, June 2nd OR Sunday, June 3rd (come to the one which suits your

schedule the best). Following the training/informa7on session, Fr. Michael will

be asking our Bishop to renew or start the mandate our Extraordinary Ministers

receive from him. A note to the Extraordinary Ministers from St. Bernardine’s:

if you missed the session there, you may come to the one here, in order to get

the informa7on and training that is needed.

SUMMER IS APPROACHING: So, a few announcements regarding our Parish summer

rou7ne ... First, the Saturday night Mass at 4:30 will con7nue throughout the summer months.

It may be a ‘simple’ Mass, in terms of the music available, but for this

summer at least, it will not be cancelled as it has been in other years.

Second, the bulle7n will not be published in July or August. The last

bulle7n will be published for the Canada Day weekend, and then the

bulle7ns will resume in September. The weekday Mass schedule for those two months will be

printed and made available.

Finally, the Parish office will be closed in July and August. Fr. Michael is not going anywhere for

more than three or four days at a 7me, so he will be checking the phone for messages and is

always available by e-mail at the parish address should you need to get in touch with him.

Found blowing around the Church yard: A Birth Cer7ficate in the name of Marie Huguee

Beaubien, born in Kimberly. If anyone knows who this woman is, please let Fr. Michael know.

Communion from the Cup: Two new Chalices have been ordered for our Sunday Mass

celebra7ons at St. John’s. Once they arrive, and the Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Eucharist

have been trained, we will begin offering Communion under both Species, as we already do at

St. Bernardine’s. This will likely begin in the summer months, depending on the delivery date.

If anyone is interested in dona7ng towards the cost of purchasing one of the Chalices that will

contain the Precious Blood of our Lord, the cost is $1,000 per Chalice.

To the Parishioners of St. Andrew’s, St. John’s and St. Paul’s:

The Knights of Columbus Centennial Council #6074 (which includes all 3 Parishes) would like to “Thank You” for your generous support of our annual Roses for Life Campaign, that was held at all 3 Parishes on Mother’s day weekend.

We raised a total of $695.00 which will be donated to the local Sudbury Right to Life group.
