The St. James Theatre opened in September 2012 and has firmly established itself in the London theatre world, setting a new standard in audience/client facilities and hospitality services for corporate and private use. The St. James Theatre comes fully equipped with state-of-the-art equipment allowing the venue to be highly flexible and welcoming for almost every type of commercial or private event.

The St. James building comprises a 312 seat main auditorium and a 120 guest capacity studio for smaller events or shows. The building has Wi-Fi throughout and incorporates a broadcast TV gallery so that shows or events can be filmed in-house and streamed or broadcast live. Both theatres within the building are fitted with robotic TV cameras and audio/visual production facilities so clients can film their event or show on a one-stop-shop basis. The theatres have been designed to be multi-purpose and suitable for all types of commercial use.

The St. James Bar & Brasserie is open 7 days a week for drinks, casual lunches and evening dining although the bar can be reserved for private receptions with canapé food. We are unusual in London as we offer high-quality dining with first class entertainment in both theatres, and event/corporate facilities, all under one roof.

The Carrrara restaurant on the first floor is suitable for private dining, receptions and parties.

The building is perfect for high-quality theatre production, corporate events and presentations including PR, product launches, AGMs, company meetings, film screenings, live debates, TV specials and broadcasts.

We specifically aim to provide clients with excellent customer service throughout the process of their event or reception to ensure the best results. An additional benefit is free public parking in Palace Street available in the evenings.

The main auditorium is available during the day until 5pm for private hire on a daily / half daily rate, providing the perfect setting for a wide range of functions and events. The adjacant St. James Bar & Brasserie can be hired with the auditorium, as a space for arrival, registration and refreshments throughout the day - the ideal location for guests to mingle and network. The Studio is a vibrant live entertainment space that during the daytime and on certain nights of the week lends itself to becoming a flexible and self-contained corporate events venue. With its own designer bar, built-in AV facilities and a balcony level that can be used as a VIP or staff area or even as a break-out space, there are endless possibilities of how the Studio can be used:

The St. James Theatre has been designed specifically to accommodate the various demands of broadcasters, production companies and corporate clients with the addition of a purpose built broadcast gallery.

The venue has been fully cabled and prepared for live event use and cost-effective transmission from either the main auditorium or the Studio.

This in-house facility makes use of HD robotic as well as manned cameras and the video gallery is fully equipped to support multi-camera operation. With our direct connectivity we can deliver your production or AGM meeting to broadcasters across the globe as well as other multi-platform operators such as web hosting.

For corporate webcasts and product launches, the fibre connectivity with direct access to all major content delivery networks is one of the most versatile installations of recent years.

TV Gallery - The compact TV facilities in the St. James Theatre enable clients to produce and broadcast their shows from one venue.

Streaming - Live shows can be streamed into larger venues or cinemas.

Film your live eventsWith superb sound, lighting and technical support, all forms of live entertainment can be filmed or recorded in the studio and auditorium.

Within minutes walking distance of the bustling Victoria Street and Cardinal Place, the St. James Bar & Brasserie is an ideal venue to meet business colleagues, contacts or friends in sophisticated surroundings throughout the day

or evening. For guests who want to enjoy a late supper, live music will be performed after the shows, on our white grand piano in the bar and brasserie.

Drinks Receptions - The St. James Bar & Brasserie is the ideal venue for private parties and can hold up to 100 guests.

MeetingThe St. James Bar & Brasserie is suitable for private receptions and breakfast meetings.

The Carrara restaurant on the first floor is approached via the stunning Carrara marble staircase which was handcrafted in Italy specifically for the St. James Theatre. The Carrara is designed for a high quality dining experience during the day or evening and can accommodate 62 guests for seated private luncheons or dinner parties. Our chef is always prepared to accommodate client’s individual requirements.
