Building Our Home… Growing Our Faith

We are making headway on reducing our debt of over $1 million. This is necessary if we are to move forward and begin planning for our formal Church! All are encouraged to commit to a 12-month pledge drive to completely eliminate our debt. Our growth depends on the participation of all our families who now call St. Elizabeth Seton “home.” Please pick up a pledge card (located at each door) and make a commitment. Use the gold colored envelopes for your contributions to the Building Fund. Thank you! Grief Support Ministry We just concluded our first Grief Support Ministry sessions and ended with a beautiful Remembrance Ceremony outdoors under the large crucifix. Many people in attendance found ways of moving past their grief at the loss of a loved one to a place of hope and joy. Watch our bulletin for the next session. Thanks to our wonderful team who worked hard to bring this ministry to our parish! Garces News Are you interested in being a Garces Ram? Visit our campus and see what it is like to be a student at Garces. “Ram for a Day” is Friday, OCT 28. All attendees will need a “Participation Release” form filled out. Forms are available on the Garces website. 8th Grade Tailgate On Friday, OCT 28 the Class of 2021 and their families are invited to attend a tailgate prior to kick-off of the varsity football game vs Frontier. Food will be served at 6:30; kick off is 7:30 pm. Sophomore Retreat NOV 5 The retreat will be held at the McDermott Field House in Lindsey, CA. The cost is $45 a student and sophomores need to sign up with Mr. Brian Cobb, our Campus Minister. This will be an amazing spiritual growth opportunity that your student does not want to miss! Knights of Columbus 5th Sunday Rosary with the Knights of Columbus. We will begin after the 7:30 Mass on October 30. All are welcome!
