Today as we celebrate Christ the King, may we open the door of our heart so wide that we may listen to the voice of Jesus call-ing us to help build his kingdom here on earth.
Over the past 12 months, through your gifts, the Society of St. Vincent de Paul was able to bring God’s kingdom of love and mercy to 149 families, providing as-sistance with rent, utilities, food and other bills. God Bless You!

Please be generous in this week’s special collection for the Catholic Campaign for Human Development.
In the United States, one in eight people lives in poverty. With this collection, you support programs that address the root causes of poverty and provide a sustainable future for those struggling across the coun-try. In addition, 25% of the funds we col-lect remain in our diocese to fund local anti-poverty projects. Please prayerfully consider how you can support this collection and those working on the margins. More infor-mation about the Catholic Campaign for Hu-man Development can be found at www.usccb.org/cchd.

During the upcoming Advent Season, we reflect on the many gifts for which we are grateful, and the many bless-ings we have received. The members of the Society of St. Vincent DePaul are thankful for many things. One of our greatest gifts is the generosity and kindness of the pa-
rishioners of St. Cletus. We would like to thank everyone who helped make our St. Cletus Quilt Raffle a success. By helping us, you have touched the hearts and the lives of those in need within our parish boundary. We would also like to thank the St. Cletus Quilters for their on-going support and talent. Congratulations to our winners, Mary Young and Joan Buchheit. Again, a heartfelt thank you!

“WHOSOEVER DIES IN THIS GARMENT SHALL NOT SUFFER ETERNAL FIRE.”
-promise of Our Lady to St. Simon Stock on July 16, 1251
“We know earthly death is not the end, but rather the door through which we must pass to gain eternal life. Because of our belief and hope in the Resurrection, we can face death not with fear, but with preparation… We prepare for eternal life by choosing to love and follow God now, in our daily lives and decisions.”
