¡Paz y bendiciones Navideñas! ¡Hoy celebramos un cambio en la historia, un cambio de trayectoria y una bendición para todos! El nacimiento de Cristo no sólo afectó al pueblo judío que anhelaba y esperaba un Mesías, sino que también trajo la salvación a todos los que han caminado por la tierra. En el 2016, continuamos buscando, esperando y preparándonos para experimentar la presencia de Cristo en nuestras vidas y en nuestro mundo. Demasiadas veces estamos buscando una señal o un evento específico que perdemos la oportunidad de tener su amor y paz. En lugar, debemos confiar en su providencia y permitirlo trabajar como El quiere para que podamos recibir su amor y paz. Al celebrar el nacimiento de nuestro Salvador, tomemos tiempo para dar gracias por su presencia, aunque no siempre la reconozcamos. ¡Demos gracias por la oportunidad de elegir a Cristo cada día y pasar nuestro tiempo esta Navidad levantando los ánimos a los que encontremos y mostrarles el amor y la esperanza que sólo puede venir de Cristo! ¡En nombre del clero, el personal y los voluntarios de San Carlos Borromeo, esperamos que usted tenga una Navidad llena de esperanza y paz! Peace and Christmas Blessings! Today we celebrate a shift in history, a change in trajectory and a blessing to all! The birth of Jesus Christ did not just affect the Jewish people who longed and waited for a messiah, but, also brought salvation to all who have ever and will ever walk the Earth. In 2016, we continue to search, wait, and prepare to experience the presence of Christ in our lives and in our world. Too often we are just looking too hard for a specific sign or event that we often miss Him bringing his love and peace to us. Instead, we should trust in his providence and allow him to work as He wills, so we can receive his love and peace. As we celebrate the birth of our Savior, let us take time to give thanks for his presence even if we do not always recognize it. Let us give thanks for the opportunity to choose Christ each day and spend our time this Christmas lifting the spirits of all we encounter and show them the Love and Hope that can only come from Christ!
