Parents and children are invited to go on a ride on the Pink Bus (against a fee of €4 per person) on Sunday. Children under the age of 10 need to be accompanied by an adult. We will meet in front of the Senior Management Team Office and we will then depart on the Pink Bus to go to the location where the School was founded in Malta - and there will be an explanation by the Senior School staff and students on the history of the school. Then the Bus will bring us back to school and we will then hear about the current life of the school.

Places on this tour are limited and you are to fill in the form hereunder should you want to take part (pls pass it on to Ms. Sue Midolo by not later than Friday 31st May)

The Pre/Junior School classes invite you to come and tour the Solar System. Parents/students will be given a Passport which they need to have stamped when they visit the class. Two tours will take place, at 10:15 am and then at 2 pm and parents/students are to meet initially in front of the Flutterby Area (marked as ➁ on the Map of the First Floor)

The tour of the solar system will go round the following areas:

Join us on a trip around the Solar System ...

3 ... 2 ... 1 ... Blast Off!

“Join us on a trip around the Solar System” It is our special day again ... to present who we are ... to new parents and students ... and also, as students, to present our talents and gifts to our parents and relatives.

This year the theme of the Open Day focuses on a trip around the Solar System. Each class (from Flutterby to the Junior 6) will present a planet, or life around the Solar System. The tour will start from the Flutterby Area (marked on the First Floor Map as area ➁) and will go round the first floor and second floor classes.

The Senior School will be responsible for the organisation of games and activities in the Turf Ground Outdoors. They will also be guiding parents who would have registered for the Tour of the History of our School on the Pink Bus Tour at 12 pm (meeting point on First Floor Map, marked as ➅).

Table Tennis Exhibitions will take place in the Gymnasium (at Ground Floor level, the access is marked on the First Floor Map as ➃) from 11 am to 3 pm.

School Tours for new parents/students will take place at 11 am and then at 1 pm (meeting point is marked on the First Floor Map as ➀). Ms. Sue Midolo, Director of the Junior School, and Ms. Karen Galea, Director of the Flutterby Child Care Centre, will be leading these tours and interested parents are invited to join us. Registrations will also be taken on the day.

We will end the day with Mass at 3pm (in the Assembly Hall - marked on First Floor Map as ➆). Enjoy!

Stalls, Food, Activities on the Day As is customary, our Open Day is also a Fun Day for students, parents, relatives and friends. As such, we will have the following Stalls and Activities which you should not miss:

- Food Stall by Luciano’s (in the Outdoor Area) (there will be burgers, hot dogs and veg burgers and salad on sale here);

- the Canteen ( ➄ on First floor Map) will be open for ice-creams, drinks and nibbles;

- Flutterby Pancake Stall ( ➁ on First floor map)- from 12 - 2 pm, our Flutterby staff will be selling sweet pancakes - yummy yummy for the tummy!

- Outdoor Areas (➂ on First Floor map) - we will have a Bouncy Castle, a Trampoline, Human Fly Trap, Mega Slide, Face Painting, Caricature Artist, Bungee Rides, Go Karts, Quad Bikes, a Little Train (it is important that no stiletto heels are to be worn on the newly done up rubber ground!) - these rides are against payment;

- Outdoor Areas ((➂ on First Floor map) - Games will be organised on the Turf Ground (1st session - 10:15-11am; 2nd session - 11:30-12:15 pm). No payment is required for participation;

- Quiz and Presentation on the School - sessions will run from 10 am to 12:30 pm (Assembly Hall ➆);

- Table Tennis Exhibitions by the High Impact Table Tennis Academy (see programme for the age group) from 12 pm to 3 pm;

- Pink Bus History of the School Tour - join us on the open air Pink Bus at 12 pm for a ride to the old school where the school was founded in Malta and then back to our school for a history of the school (meeting place ➅ on First Floor Map);

- Mass at 3pm ( ➆ Assembly Hall on First Floor Map)- the priest will lead us in prayer during Mass so that we close the day thanking God for all we have.
