St. Benedict Parish Anointing Mass Sunday, November 15th at 2:00 pm

On Sunday, November 15th, at 2:00 p.m., our parish will once again celebrate a special Anointing Mass, during which people will have the opportunity to receive the Sacrament of the Anointing of the Sick. As in the past, this Mass will focus on individuals and families who have been touched in some way by illness. Knowing the wide and various ways in which illness can affect our lives, it is our intention to include in our prayers at this celebration those who either have suffered and died from afflictions of any kind, as well as those presently ill, or those who have been ill and have recovered, no matter what the illness.

Therefore, during this Eucharistic Liturgy, our prayer will be especially attentive to the following areas:

In memory of those who have died.

Praying for those who are currently sick.

In gratitude for recovery from illness.

We invite everyone to submit names of family members and friends who have been affected in all these ways. Please PRINT the names of your loved ones in the designated section of the attached sheet. Please PRINT CLEARLY so that all names can be spelled cor rectly. These names will be placed in a special book, which will be carried in the opening procession of Mass.

Everyone is invited to attend this celebration. This Mass will fulfill your Sunday obligation.

PLEASE PRINT – CLEARLY AND SUBMIT BY November 6th to the Rectory Office

In Memory of Loved Ones Who Have Died
