INSPIRING NORFOLK This project aims to inspire Norfolk children and their families to enjoy learning together through focusing on Norfolk’s inspiring people, places, artefacts and events. It has been put together by five enthusiasts for learning and for Norfolk. The website will be fully populated from early June and will have over 50 short films and suggested activities to stimulate your interest in all things Norfolk, past and present. But you will get a good flavour of what is to come even before then. In addition to using the website in school it is hoped that families will create their own short Festival of Learning together as well. All the resources are free and the website will remain open till December. Just log in to - www.inspiringnorfolk.co.uk – choose some resources (short films just 5 to 10 minutes) – and be surprised, challenged and hopefully inspired to learn more ….. and maybe even go out and enjoy the places mentioned. You will be surprised at the richness of the local environment. See here what the EDP made of it a couple of weeks ago- https://www.edp24.co.uk/news/education/stephen-fry-ed-balls-inspiring-norfolk-schools-project-7949480

Again we have to remind parents of few Important things.

WisePay Meals Remember to book your child’s meal by Sunday night 23:59 as the system will close. We have had many children coming and ordering dinners in class this week. This causes issues for the kitchen on a daily basis. If your child hasn't got a dinner ordered and you have not sent in a packed lunch, your child may have to wait until the end, so that the children that have had one ordered get the meal they chose. If the kitchen doesn't have enough food your child may end up being offered something they do not like and then this will cause more problems for the rest of the day.

Morning Drop Off There are still a few parent’s leaving Lower KS2 children at the bottom of the steps at morning drop off. Remember it is your responsibility to supervise your children in the playground until a member of staff is on duty.

After School Activities Pick – Up When you collect your children from After School Clubs please do not park across the school car park entrance or enter the carpark. Please use St. Walstan’s Church and Costessey Centre car parks at all times.

Nut Free Packed Lunches Please remember to send your children with a packed lunch that DOES NOT contains NUTS. We do
