ADDITIONAL TEACHERS AND CLASS ROOM ASSISTANTS WILL BE REQUIRED for the 1st Reconciliation and 1st Eucharist Preparation Program beginning in September. Our new Sacramental Program will include 8 monthly sessions either on a weeknight or Saturday morning. Program participants are required to complete the Volunteer Screening requirements prior to the beginning of the program. Please contact our parish office at 403-252-1137 to volunteer.

ORDINATION OF DEACON DEREK REMUS TO THE PRIESTHOOD: Bishop William McGrattan is pleased to announce that he has called Rev. Mr. Derek Remus to be ordained to the priesthood on Friday, June 29, 7 PM at St. Mary's Cathedral. All are welcome! First Masses schedule: Saturday, June 30 at 9 AM, at St. Bonaventure Parish (1600 Acadia Dr. SE, Calgary).
ANNUAL CATHOLIC FAMILY LIFE CONFERENCE: The 23rd Annual Catholic Family Life Conference will be held at Lac Ste. Anne, Alberta, June 29 to July 2. A married couple was returning from the funeral of Uncle George, who had lived with them for twenty years and had been such a nuisance that he almost succeeded in wrecking their marriage.
There is something I have to say to you, dear,” said the man. “If it hadn’t been for my love for you, I wouldn’t have put up with your Uncle George for a single day.” “My Uncle George!” she exclaimed in horror. “I thought he was your Uncle George!”
A Prayer for Fathers
God our Father, we give you thanks
for fathers young and old.
We pray for young fathers, newly embracing their
vocation; may they find courage and perseverance to
balance work, family and faith in joy and sacrifice.
We pray for all Fathers around the word whose children
are lost or suffering: may they know that the God of
compassion walks with them in their sorrow.
We pray for men who are not fathers but still mentor
and guide us with fatherly love and advice.
We remember fathers, grandfathers, and great
grandfathers who are no longer with us but who live
forever in our memory and nourish us with their
love…Amen

Our Perpetual Adoration Chapel, open 24 hours a day since its establishment in August 2003, has been a source of grace and spiritual growth.
