the two ninja limped off in defeat, our heroes knew thegreatest threat to the pop idols safety was now gone.01[21:17] After splitting up and facing harshbattles, our heroes were reunited with a new face in theirmidst. With the concert now over, all that is left to do iswait for their replacements from Grass Country.01[21:17] But so many questions were left unanswered.Who had hired these would-be kidnappers? What village werethey from? Where did this blank-eyed woman come from? Whydid Tanaka feel so comfortable taking the form of a woman?01[21:17] Find out the answers to these questions andmore on the next episode of SUNAGAKURE: SANDS STAINED WITHBLOOD!01[21:18] And now, you stand together at last in theemptied venue. Several cleaners are picking up refuse whileMonobikei-hime speaks with someone important looking withher two bodyguards beside her.01[21:19] * Hyuuga_Rairaku stares at monobike watching herspeak01[21:20] The man she is speaking to seems to be themanager, and it seems she is negotiating her terms andpayment. He is none too happy about a ninja battle breakingout on his roof, though no permanent damage was caused.

[21:20] Yasu slumps against a nearby object oflittle import, still feeling his wounds from the fightagainst the wire guy.01[21:21] * Tanshin_Yori regards the newcomer, caughtsomewhere between curiosity and irritation.[21:21] ...Hm?01[21:22] * Hyuuga_Rairaku looks at Yori[21:22] *STARING CONTEST*[21:22] *ROUND 1 BEGIN!*01[21:22] (( Yori cheats, he's wearing sunglasses))[21:22] ....Where are your eyes?

01[21:25] Jun is too busy staring at Monobikei-himeto notice the newcomer, and Tanaka is too busy staring atJun, for reasons that will remain up to the reader.01[21:26] Mai, though, regards her with a criticaleye but doesn't comment.

01[21:27] * Hyuuga_Rairaku Looks at the forehead protectoron yasu and jun03[21:27] * hideki_jun[21:28] "Those mean you are the protectersof the land?"[21:31] "You could say that."[21:31] "i wish to speak to the leader..."[21:32] Yasu pulls out a bit of cloth andbegins to wipe his face of the blood and grime left fromthe fight. He looks at this random girl curiously, but hedoesn't say anything.01[21:32] ((note: most of the blood and grime isyasu's))01[21:34] * Tanshin_Yori doubts some strange girl couldwaltz into the village and speak to the Kazekage...[21:34] (er, Sasori's around, right?)01[21:34] Sasori seems to be absent.[21:35] "Sensei would be the man to talk to.Wherever he is."[21:36] "Shall we look for him then?"[21:37] "Or is the job of protecting thewoman not complete?"[21:37] "Yes. That. I'm sure he'll be back

soon."[21:38] "I will never stop protecting her" avery zoned out Jun says[21:38] "Is he okay?"[21:39] Eyes Jun strangely, "Then what were youdoing going off on an adventure while she was gettingattacked?"[21:39] "This is what passes for normalbehavior with him."[21:40] "Some valor is proactive instead ofreactive"

01[21:40] * Hyuuga_Rairaku Hmms lightly then turns andbegins walking to monobike-hime.[21:41] Yasu shrugs, "What we did was outsidethe mission parameters. We should not be congratulated.Especially since I almsot died. That is also outside themission parameters."[21:42] "We fought admirably, exploited avaluable opportunity, and executed a powerful joint attack.

I think we did well. If I decided poorly it's only becauseI chose to act aggressively in a moment of opportunity"[21:43] Thinks for a minute, then shrugs again,"Perhaps."01[21:43] As Rairaku approaches the manager seems to

huff before turning toward the backstage area and walkingaway. Nodding with satisfaction, Monobikei-hime turns andsays, "Well, now that that's settled, let's get back to thehotel. I'm beat."

[21:43] "Agreed. Has anyone seen Sasori-sensei?"01[21:44] * ~SS : -> Monobikei-hime: "Huh? the red-head? Ihaven't seem him since the concert ended..."[21:45] Yasu stands slowly and nods. "We'lljust escort the client back to her room at the hotel. IfSensei doesn't meet us there, then he will likely show upeventually." Yasu turns to Rairaku, "Until then, if youdon't mind, I'd like you to accompany us."01[21:45] * ~SS :Itami -> "Mmmm... He went toward the backalley after you chased that other ninja off."01[21:45] * Hyuuga_Rairaku staring at monobike-hime'sclothes[21:45] "Maybe he's tracking down backlash..."[21:46] *is also staring at monobikei'sclothes... For different reasons most likely.01[21:46] Monobikei-hime seems to notice Rai for thefirst time. "Uhh... where did you come from?"

[21:47] "Hmm. I'll go see if he's there.If not, I'll meet you all back at the hotel."01[21:47] * Tanshin_Yori goes to check the alley, leavingthe task of explaining Rairaku's presence to the others.[21:47] "The desert" she says blankly[21:47] Turns to Yori, "I think it might bebest if someone else accompanies you Yori, just in case our"friends" return for osme payback."01[21:48] Considering the state of your "friends"when they left, that is highly unlikely.[21:49] "I'll go with you. The sooner we find

sansei the better we can perform our mission"01[21:50] * ~SS :Monobikei-hime -> "Well, that wouldexplain the cloths... Rokou! When we get back, get her afew outfits from my wardrobe. Some plainer stuff, anythingtoo frilly wouldn't look good on her."01[21:50] * Tanshin_Yori is mildly surprised that histeammate can pry himself away from Monobike-hime longenough to do anything.

01[22:06] Then away you go.01[22:06] Back at the hotel in the pop idols room,Monobikei-hime busies herself getting changed. Meanwhile,Rokou brings out a rack of clothing which he tells Rai tochose what she likes from.

Go Team Underachievers!)01[22:06] * Hyuuga_Rairaku stares at the rack of clothes[22:07] "You sure?" she asks rokou blankly01[22:07] * ~SS :Rokou -> "Hime said so, it's not mydecision."01[22:09] * Hyuuga_Rairaku compiles a outfit and sets it onthe bed[22:10] "Thank you..."01[22:10] (( you're in the living room ))[22:10] ((couch then))01[22:10] Rokou grunts and then leaves to make sureMonobikei-hime is alright.01[22:11] * Hyuuga_Rairaku looks a tthe clothes spread outon the couch, then takes off her poncho.01[22:11] Note: She is not wearing anything under herponcho.01[22:12] Tanaka doesn't seem phased. Mai gasps.[22:12] Yasu turns bright red, coughs, andturns around quickly.01[22:13] YORI and JUN meanwhile are missing out onthe jail-bait fun!01[22:13] Your search is pretty fruitless and youquickly realize that though it is a small world after all,

your chances of running into Sasori in the middle of thecity are zero to none.01[22:14] However, you do find that weapon store Junwas talking about earlier, though it is closed and lockedup tight.[22:14] "ah...shit"01[22:15] * Tanshin_Yori sighs. "This isn't getting usanywhere. Back to the hotel."[22:15] Gives a helpless shrug "Can't behelped"01[22:15] * ~SS :??? -> "What are you two doing here?"

"01[22:21] He then promptly decides it's not worth theeffort.01[22:21] (( be where? ))[22:22] ((at the store. Ninja weapons mightequal puppeteer Sensei))01[22:23] (( This is a general weapons store,Puppeteer related things are particularly specialized andnot often seen outside ninja villages ))01[22:23] * ~SS :Sasori -> "Why would I be... nevermind.Let's just go," he says pinching his eyebrows.01[22:23] Before ushering you away, he turns to theman and thanks him for his assistance.[22:23] ((Juns grabbing at loose ends))

[22:23] "See ya around big guy!"01[22:24] The large, bald man waves and chucklesbefore heading off toward his own destination.[22:25] "Good guy that one. Do you know him,Sensei?"01[22:26] * Tanshin_Yori keeps silent, not wanting to testSasori's patience further.01[22:26] * ~SS :Sasori -> "Yes... reasonably enough... atleast as much as many can know that man..."01[22:27] Yori's silence is noted.[22:27] "Ya don't say... Seems like a cool guy

to me. " Jun turns back and looks as they walk away01[22:27] In due time, you make it back to the hotelwhere Rai is already decent.[22:27] And Yasu is still red.01[22:28] * Hyuuga_Rairaku is sitting on the couch patiently01[22:29] Sasori almost passes by Rai before doing adouble take. "Wha--"[22:29] "Hmm?"

01[22:30] * ~SS :Sasori -> "Do you have any idea what thisis?" he asks, pointing at Rai.[22:30] "She's a shinobi whose our...Prisoner..?" Jun attempts to explain it as best he can01[22:31] Monobikei-hime looks unsure for a momentbut her resolve comes back tempered by defiance. "What doyou mean 'It'?"01[22:31] * Hyuuga_Rairaku raises her eyebrow at the term"prisoner"01[22:31] * ~SS :Sasori -> "This isn't just some Shinobi...it's a Hyuuga. And I'd like to know why she is here..." Helooks at Rai with thinning eyes.[22:31] "Hostility... Why?"[22:32] "Sensei has a point. You're herebecause...?"[22:32] "Who knows? She apparantly helpedprotect Monobikei-hime, so... We didn't really know what todo with her. 01[22:35] * Hyuuga_Rairaku has a slight look of worry "Didi do somthing wrong?"01[22:36] Sasori looks slightly confused by Rai'suncertain look. "How about you just tell me what you'redoing here."01[22:36] * Tanshin_Yori is intrigued by the prospect ofseeing his teacher in action.01[22:36] As is Tanaka.

Scorpions?"01[22:38] * ~SS :Monobikei-hime -> "how long have you livedout there???"01[22:39] * Hyuuga_Rairaku begins to count on her fingersup to 6 then pauses01[22:39] * Hyuuga_Rairaku holds up eight fingers[22:39] "That many..."01[22:40] * ~SS :Monobikei-hime -> "Oh, you poor thing!"[22:41] Gets a little irked at monobikei'sfawning. [23:02] Awakens from where he was sleeping andpromptly gets up to do his regular stretching exercises.01[23:02] * Hyuuga_Rairaku stands infront of monobike'sdoor waiting for her[23:03] Tanaka checks Inu's bindings

and gets ready to wake the others.01[23:05] Sasori notices your stirring. "These areour replacements. They check out, so we can leaveimmediately."01[23:05] * Hyuuga_Rairaku knocks on monobike's door lightly[23:05] Yasu eyes his teams "captive" as shewaits. He speaks softly to her, "So, why did you help usprotect Monobikei-hime?"01[23:05] * Hyuuga_Rairaku turns to yasu[23:06] "An innocent was in danger."01[23:06] Itami comes over from the living room, "CanI help you with something, Hyuuga-san?"01[23:06] * Hyuuga_Rairaku looks at itami making a brushingmotion with her hand on her hair01[23:06] * Hyuuga_Rairaku her hair in a mess of bedhead[23:07] Yasu shrugs, "Makes sense I suppose."01[23:07] * ~SS :Itami -> "Ah." He points at the bathroomacross the hall.[23:07] "If i knew hostility would ensuemy good deed, i would have not helped."01[23:08] * Hyuuga_Rairaku she nods to yasu as she heads tothe bathroom[23:08] Nods thoughtfully, "I think sensei's

hostility more comes from worry about the potentialproblems that could arrise when knowledge of your presencebecomes public."01[23:08] (( if. If is good. ))01[23:11] * Hyuuga_Rairaku exits the bathroom hair brushedand ready[23:11] "Ready when you are Red."01[23:11] * Hyuuga_Rairaku looks over at sasori01[23:12] * ~SS :Sasori -> "Mmmm, then let's go."01[23:12] * Tanshin_Yori rouses from pseudo-slumber at allthe commotion in the room. Standing, he yawns and stretches.

01[23:12] With a nod to the Grass nin, Sasori opensthe double doors and exits the room.[23:13] Yasu stops stretching quickly andfollows his Sensei.01[23:13] * Tanshin_Yori looks curiously at the Grassshinobi for a moment before exiting without a backwardglance.01[23:13] They shudder but return his curious looks.

Villages areextremely protective of their bloodlines lest their secretsfall to their enemies. Besides that, her lack of a seal onher forehead means she is from the reinging house of herclan.
