SUPPLIER SKILLS PROGRAMME GRANT APPLICATION FORM The Supplier Skills Programme (SSP) provides training grants for SME supply chain companies with an aim to grow their employee skill levels and thereby significantly transforming business expertise, capability and capacity, embedding tools to improve workforce performance and business competitiveness. Applicant SME must be actively trading for at least 6 months and be located within More Developed Area of Greater Birmingham and Solihull Local Enterprise Partnership (GBSLEP). Eligible SME can apply for grant award of between £500 to £18,000. This application form must be completed by a person legally responsible for the business identified as the ‘Applicant’ in Section 1 of the form. WHEN COMPLETING THE FORM a) Please refer to “The Programme Criteria, Grant Application Guidance Notes and Processes” for guidance and assistance as indicated throughout the application form. b) All light grey shaded fields must be completed. The Supplier Skills Programme (SSP) provides training grants for SME supply chain companies with an aim to grow their employee skill levels and thereby significantly transforming business expertise, capability and capacity, embedding tools to improve workforce performance and business competitiveness. project. (Note: ASYLUM SEEKERS WHO DO NOT HAVE PERMISSION TO WORK are not eligible for support on this project).

3. Be employed by an SME located within More Developed are of GBSLEP

ANNEX 1

GUIDE TO ELECTRONICALLY SIGNING THIS FORM:

As a temporary arrangement whilst the COVID-19 Government advice is in place, the ESF Managing Authority is putting in place contingency arrangements for the completion and processing of signatures on ESF funded programme related forms.

The instructions below set out the actions you need to take under these contingency arrangements to complete the signing of the SME Grant Application Form.

For the purposes of this contingency process, an electronic signature is defined as: · Electronic copy of an actual handwritten signature. Typewritten signatures will not be acceptable.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Please ensure the form is fully completed and checked before you sign it. Any changes applied after signature is inserted will remove the original signature requiring the form to be sign again. If this is the case, please follow same instructions again. Once the form is signed please close the document WITHOUT SAVING IT as saving file may nullify the signature (the form will autosave when signature is inserted)

There are 2 options for you to sign the form.

OPTION 2Please print the electronically completed form with details required and personally sign it. Once signed please scan and save as PDF. You are required to return the signed PDF along with the unsigned Word version above.
