Wednesday, July 4
Excursion to the Cinque Terre
Morning Breakfast at your hotel.
Day excursion to the CCiinnqquuee TTeerrrree rreeggiioonn known for its five villages which were for centuries accessible only by boat. In their rugged simplicity, the five old fishing towns of Monterosso, Vernazza, Corniglia, Manarola, and Riomaggiore seem to mock the artifice of glitzy neighboring resorts.
8:58 am Arrive iinn RRiioommaaggggiioorree,, one of the five villages.
Walk together along the VViiaa ddeellll’’AAmmoorree hhiikkiinngg ttrraaiill to the next village, Manarola (approximately 30 minute walk).
Free time in MMaannaarroollaa.. Then return on foot to the harbor of Riomaggiore.
12:30 pm Ferry departs Manarola harbor for Portovenere.
1:15 pm Arrive in PPoorrttoovveenneerree,, the quintessential Ligurian seaside village with its colorful facades and pedestrians-only calata (promenade). The UNESCO World Heritage town is often referred to as the sixth town of the Cinque Terre, but it has half the crowds.
Lunch on your own in Portovenere.
Free time to enjoy the town.
Transfer by bus to your hotel in Santa Margherita.

Travel from Santa Margherita to Florence with a stop in Pisa
Morning Breakfast at your hotel during normal serving hours.
Depart Santa Margherita.
12:00 pm Arrive in PPiissaa and walk together to the Piazza del Duomo, where you will find the Leaning Tower, the Cathedral and its Baptistry.
All of the monuments on the square require admission (not included). You may enter one or more of the monuments at your own cost or use your time for photography.
Afternoon Lunch on your own in Pisa.
Depart Pisa.
Arrive in FFlloorreennccee the capital of Tuscany and a shrine to the Italian Renaissance.
Check into your hotel: The Style Hotel or comparable.

TOUR PRICE 60-70 paying participants
$4,965.00 per person based upon the currency exchange rate of $1.10 = 1 Euro and $.99 = 1 Swiss Franc
TOUR INCLUSIONS
Air transportation on a regular scheduled air carrier from Dulles Airport to Geneva or Zurich, Switzerland,
and return from Rome, Italy, estimated at $1,600.00 including airport security taxes and fuel surcharges.
Land transportation in Europe by private, deluxe motor coach (two) with air-conditioning, reclining seats,
and public address system as needed to execute the attached itinerary.
Accommodations: Eleven nights hotel accommodations in four-star (First Class) centrally-located hotels in
Montreux, Santa Margherita, Florence, Perugia, and Rome.
Meals: Breakfast daily at hotel. Eight additional meals: lunch or dinner (depending upon performance
schedule) including a Farewell Luncheon in Rome.
Sightseeing: Guided tours (and entrance fees when applicable) of the Roman Forum and Colosseum in Rome,

EXCLUSIONS:
Trip Cancellation Insurance. Participants may purchase individually a policy upgrade to include cancellation
insurance.
Expenses of passports or visas. Current U.S. passport fee is $135.
Excess and oversized baggage fees charged by airline. Fees vary between airlines. Instrumental groups should
budget approximately $1200 to cover these costs. An instrument list will be submitted to the airline before
departure to determine exact baggage costs.
Personal expenses incurred such as laundry, telephone calls, and porterage.
Transportation charges resulting from deviation from the printed itinerary.
Anything not mentioned as being included.
At time of contract, a re-evaluation of airfares, air taxes, and exchange rates may result in a price revision.
