Over the next two days, plan, then write a scene from a ‘Simpson’s Playscript’ based on one of the following ideas.
Remember to use the success steps to help you and try to be as creative as you can.

2) written in the present tense
3) no inverted commas around speech
4) use brackets for stage directions - how actors move and
speak.
Scene 1 – The explosion
Bart, Lisa and the rest of the class from Springfield School are being shown around the Nuclear Power Plant by Smithers, they see Homer asleep on his chair.
Scene 1 – The armed robbery
Marge is in the Kwik-e-Mart shopping when Snake bursts through the door and holds a gun to Apo’s head.
Scene 1 – The alien invasion
The Simpson’s are sitting in their back garden, a huge spaceship flies overhead and beams them up.
Scene 1 – Homer the acrobat
The Simpson’s are at the circus, Homer volunteers to be part of the trapeze act.
