Changing the Conversation I’m a writer by passion, a copywriter/brand manager by profession, a dancer by hobby, a traveler on occasions, a social media enthusiast all day, television series buff by night and an avid reader at all times. Hyderabad’s native, biryani devotee and a coffee lover. A volunteer with Girl Rising and a former teacher at Make a Difference. Writing is a language I know, the only language I can best express myself in apart from all the convincing talks I make. I have been a Freelance Writer for three years now. I've written numerous websites, brochures and business proposals and never kept count. I began when I was still in my first year of graduation. There’s not much to study when your syllabus is films, television, camera and production. I learnt to write for the camera, radio and cinema in college. After my second year in graduation I did my internship in Circuit 9 Communications, which is a Bangalore based advertising agency, in April 2015. As a copy intern, I got a chance to visualise design that complements words, write headline copy and ideate ground-breaking campaigns that cut through the nose. OTS Advertising hired me as a copywriter trainee in October 2015 during my final semester internship. At OTS, my major responsibility was to ideate corporate campaigns for service and public sector companies. I graduated this year and in April 2016, White Thoughts and Branding clubbed my writing and talking skills into a Brand Manager. I wrote for a few clients and worked on a rebranding project; research, planning, brand positioning and identity, packaging, so on and so forth. The work pressures were hard and life too fast to grab on to. Not that I have ever minded work. Overseeing production at 2 am or finishing presentations on Sundays got me more high than low. But after five months there I've come to a point where I feel I outgrew the role that was initially assigned to me. I'm young but with that audacity of youth, I'm learning that a difference of age must line my work. I'm looking for a role that will require that of me. A challenge in dedication, perseverance and maturity, which will ask me grow into some big shoes, to be the calm sail in a storm, and to be the unerring strike of a clock.

I studied with:

- St. Martins High School in ICSE, passed with 79%.

- Then like every other Indian girl child, my family wanted me to be a doctor. So I took up Science in Intermediate and wrapped it up with 80%.

- But I realized medicine was not my forte and took up Bachelors in Arts, Mass

Communication from Loyola Academy. I graduated with 75%, Batch of 2016. Jack of many trades and a master at writing, here are a few more qualities that add an edge to what I do:

● I am an obsessive reader, an eloquent speaker, a presenter and a debater. ● I have hands-on experience in video production. Screenwriting and shot direction are

my favorite credits. ● A rapid learner and a keen observer, I believe everything has a story to tell. ● I'm very open, and people find it easy to talk to me. Communication is an art which I'm

constantly learning and practicing. ● The urge to initiate, create and innovate is an innate trait. ● I like listening to expectations.
