SRM University, Sikkim, has completed its productive three years of existence in Sikkim. It was established under the Shri Ramasamy Memorial University, Sikkim Act 2013 (Act No.13 of 2013), enacted by the Government of Sikkim., and the university has been able to give a conducive environment for the students to learn the program of their choice.

CAMPUS EXCHANGE PROGRAMThe learning in SRM University Sikkim, has crossed its state boundary through Campus-Exchange Program to SRM University, Kattankulathur, Chennai. The �nal year students are taken to the parent campus for a month to experience the across-the-board exposure to academics, industries, skills, career and culture.

INDUSTRIAL VISIT & GUEST LECTURESStudents are given exposure to the subjects through various Industrial Visits to the reputed industrial sectors. Also, to learn from the experience of the experts, various guest lectures are conducted in order to add on to their learning.

REFERENCE CENTRE A comfortable knowledge house with a healthy repository of books and reputed academic journals including E-journals, to empower the students and the teaching fraternity with broad and deeper understanding of the subject is available in the campus. Automated library supported by Library Management System serves as a reliable knowledge house in the campus.

POSTGRADUATE PROGRAMS3. Master of Science in Information Technology (M.Sc. IT)Master of Science in Information Technology, M.Sc. The job pro�les in India are changing rapidly in consonance with the demands of the industries and commercial establishments. India is forging ahead in spite of global slowdown because of its resilient economy which depends more on indigenous sources for its markets and services. Hence the higher education institutions have a major responsibility in understanding the needs of our society and provide the necessary platform in producing the right kind of human resources to propel our economy to the next level of competitiveness and engagement. SRM University, Sikkim, being a nascent university has the advantage of adapting itself to the requirements of our industries and commercial establishments.

2. Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) SRM University, Sikkim initiated the Bachelor of Business Administration program under the Management department in the year 2014. The program aims at creating and developing competent management leaders, senior administrators and executives in the industry pro�cient with the necessary managerial, interpersonal, technical and business skills. The program is designed to provide the students with fundamental knowledge in managing and administering businesses and other related types of institutions. Currently the BBA program consists of 105 students with a faculty strength of 10 full time faculty members and a number of visiting faculty for specialized courses. Unique to the BBA program are case studies aimed at inculcating analytical, problem solving, team building and research skills among the students.

College UniformCollege Uniform is compulsory and students have to bear the chargers for the same. Information regarding the stitching of the uniform will be provided by the University.

Scholarships Scheme: Founder’s Scholarship: 100% for School topper and 50% for second School topper in any of the courses. Students from Sikkim bearing COI and applying through HRDD Quota will get 25% fee concession (20% of the seats reserved in each discipline).
