Squeeze Page Cheat Sheet 1. Never ask people to blindly sign up on your
page. If they are unsure what EXACTLY they are
signing up for, you are guaranteed to build a low
quality email list.
2. Many believe the goal of their squeeze page is
to get the highest possible conversions. This is a
mistake. In fact, the opposite is true. Most often it’s
the lower converting squeeze page that builds the
highest quality email list. Why? Because in order to
build a QUALITY email list, you must first filter out
and get rid of the people you DON’T want to work
with.
3. Think of using a long form landing page to
generate leads instead of a short squeeze page. The
MORE information you have on your landing page,
the more qualified your leads will be. Yes, you’ll have
to sacrifice higher optins, but you’ll be building a
more qualified list as a result.
People who sign up on content rich pages are much
more qualified leads, and therefore, much more
responsive leads.
4. How can you make your squeeze pages NOT
look like squeeze pages? Can you position your offer
in such a way that your visitors believe they are
GETTING something, rather than GIVING something?
5. We are all swamped with FREE information.
It’s too much to ask your prospects to put a lot of
time into consuming your offer.
With this in mind: Are you giving away a free gift
that can be consumed in a very short time, and still
give a lot of great value?
6. How many free reports have you downloaded
over the past 6 months? How many have you
consumed fully? And, how much of that content has
really helped you?
Believe it or not, most people don’t even bother with
the majority of free reports they download. What
else can you offer them instead?
7. You want MORE optins WITHOUT having to
hype up your offer, or needing to use the latest
tricks and gimmicks? It’s simple. Offer something so
valuable, that anyone who lands on your squeeze
page... will find it IMPOSSIBLE to turn down.
8. Do you understand the importance of having
testimonials on a sales page, and how it increases
conversions?
Why doesn’t EVERY marketer out there put
testimonials on their squeeze page? They should.
You should too. There’s NO reason not to.
9. Did you know that squeeze pages can be used
to test whether or not people would buy a specific
product from you?
It would take you no less than a couple of hours to
create a one-page cheat sheet that’s related to your
paid product (or an affiliate product you’re
promoting). Put it up as a freebie. Send in traffic. See
if it’s an offer people want by how many sign up.
10. Most often, you’ll get better results if your
squeeze page headline is strong & unconventional.

11. Now, more than ever, people are looking for
people to buy into; ahead of their products. With
that in mind: Put a picture of yourself on your
squeeze page. Put your contact details. Put anything
that helps your visitor feel more comfortable.
12. Put a FAQ section on your squeeze page.
Answering any objections your visitor might have,
goes a long way to getting the optin, as well as
building trust and expectancy. You don’t want
people signing up out of curiosity alone.
13. Have you considered putting your actual
offer, on the squeeze page itself? You could take
your free report, and rather than giving it away for
the optin, you instead put it onto a squeeze page as
an article. Just like an article on a blog, only you do
NOT have any links leading to any other resources.
If you give enough value to the reader, you can then
ask them to sign up for more valuable information.
Yes, again, sign up conversions will be low, but
anyone who does sign up, are ONLY doing so to get
your emails. This is very, VERY powerful.
14. First impressions: Remember, your squeeze
page is prob’ly the first thing your new subscriber,
possibly customer, will see from you. If it looks tacky,
cheap, hyped up, and markety, so will YOU be
perceived. Yes, your offer is very important, but
these days, design (appearance) is too.
You’ll hear a lot about ugly pages converting better
than fancy ones. This is ONLY true if you create a
fancy squeeze page that screams advertisement!
15. You don’t need to pay monthly for a sq page &
sales page builder. I use WP Insta Builder to create
all my pages. It’s very easy to use (drag & drop)
