3. Use Case “Display Time Table”
3.1. SummaryThis use case describes the display for time table as requested by the user
3.2. Pre Condition User , on the home page, has chosen to view Time table display
3.3. Post Condition Time table is displayed for that particular board off point for the date chosen
3.4. Description
3.4.1. Input DescriptionUser has to provide the following input:
Departure Airport code Arrival Airport code Date of interest One way or return (optional)
While entering the city, user can provide the city, city code, airport name or the airport code
As the user enters a few letters (minimum 3 letters) in either Departure or Arrival Airport fields or clicks on the “Airport Picker” button, then the Airport Picker page displays a list with the results matching the entry

If the entered characters is identified as a city and if that city contains multiple airports then an additional information to indicate that the city displayed includes all airports of the city is displayed On choosing this, the “City Code” and not the airport code is filled into the target entry field.
Example:London (All Airports)
3.4.1.1. Browser Cookies and Local HTML Storage If Browser Cookies are enabled or Local HTML Storage is Available, then the selected [Airport Code – Airport Name] or [City Code – City Name] are stored in the cookies.
This list is used to provide data for the Favourite airports.
Favourite Airports – For Illustration Purposes only
If cookies are disabled or the list of Favourite airports cannot be obtained, then this section is not displayed. Up to 50 Airports can be storedFavourite Airports are ordered by recently searched and selected Airport being displayed at the topThe return date atomically updates based on the onward date chosen. The difference between onward date and return date is by default 14 days. User will not be able to choose a return date which is earlier than the onward date
3.4.2. Retrieve Flights Based on the above inputs, Mobile e-Retail retrieves a list of flight for 7 days for one way or return as indicated by the user
Both one way and return have a schedule display for a range of 7 days. The display indicates whether the flight operates for the particular date and the corresponding day of the week.

For illustration purpose only
User will be able to toggle between searched current week, previous to the searched week and the next of the searched week. Schedule is available from current week up to one year in the future. (As per availability of flights in the scheduling system e.g. Current date up to 350 days)User can view schedule from current date up to one year in future. He is prevented from viewing schedule beyond this windowIf user is on the current week and if he is trying to view flight schedule of the previous week then he is thrown an error
For the given O&D and date, MERCI can display a combination of flights with stopovers. In such scenarios, a list of flights with flight details is displayed as a bound. If the flight has no stopovers then the flight information is directly displayed. If the schedule information contains OAL or SQ code share flights, the information should be ordered based on the following criteria:
1. Direct Flights i. SQ flights ii. Code share (SQ Marketed flights)
2. Connecting flightsi. All SQ operated flights ii. Shortest duration time indicating total journey from start to end (flights can be
combination of SQ operated and marketed)iii. Earliest Departure time
Each flight in the list contains the following:

Week ViewWeek view displays time table for week in which the chosen date fallsFlights will display connecting flights as a single boundUser will be able to swipe to view the next or the previous week’s informationBy default, onward date is current date and return is current date + 15 daysUser can update each field independently; if return date is lesser than the onward a warning message is displayedThe information and content is as described in the description section of this use case

From the time table display, user can add his flight of interest to the watch list.If there are multiple flights for a journey, user is allowed to add per flight only Only the highlighted flight is pushed to the watch list and not all the 7 flights that are in display Flight can be added to the watch list only from the day view and not from the week viewA message is displayed to indicate the flight was successfully added to the watch listUser will be able to view the Flight status from the day view.
