The guide is organized by region—use the map on page two to help you find opportunities close to home quickly. But don't stop there! We encourage you to get out and explore the entire council. There are activities in every region!

Forest to Foam Multi-day Overnight: 7/15/18 - 7/19/18

8 a.m. - 5 p.m. Southern Oregon $100 deposit

Visit the "banana belt" of the southern Oregon coast. Enjoy hiking, beach combing and adventure as you explore the area. Sights include Jedediah Smith Redwoods, Harris Beach and Cape Blanco State Parks. Other possibilities include kayaking, a jet boat trip, an aquarium tour and so much more! Participating girls will meet for a phone conference prior to the trip to design the details of their experience. Estimated base cost per girl is $250. Price may increase depending on which activities girls decide to do. An initial $100 deposit is required to register. Girls will need to complete a travel readiness screening in order to participate. Girls in the Woods Multi-day Overnight:7/23/18 - 7/27/18

10 a.m. - 3 p.m. Willamette National Forest $300 ($50 non-refundable deposit)

Discover orienteering, fire building, boating, hiking and outdoor cooking, all while practicing Leave No Trace principles! This five-day overnight camp is hosted by U.S. Forest Service staff. There are two ways to participate: tent camping at Fish Lake for the week or three days of wilderness backpacking plus two days of tent camping at Fish Lake. Registration now open! d

ALASKAN ADVENTUREExplore nature at its finest with this once in a lifetime excursion to Alaska! See whales breaching near the Kenai Peninsula and go sea kayaking in Resurrection Bay. Take a bus into the backcountry at Denali and go whitewater rafting and horseback riding. Check out impressive glaciers, miles of virtually untouched wilderness and explore the town of Anchorage. Join this patrol and choose your own adventure while you make lifelong friends and experience Alaska.
