Recruit at Springboard

Springboard 2020 is a career event organized by Amsterdam University College's Student Entrepreneurship Community (SEC). The event will take place at Amsterdam University

College in Science Park on the 6th of May,

2020. The objective of the career event is to bring together motivated university students to corporations and organizations that are at the forefront of their sectors. This is done through workshops, lectures, and interviews that will be organized by you!

What is Springboard?

Why attend Springboard? ˗ You will be able to market and advertise your company/organization to some of the most talented and motivated students in the Netherlands through workshops and lectures.

˗ You can also recruit students for internships and employment at our company fair.

˗ You will also be able to expand your network with other companies and organizations that are participating, making it not only a place to recruit students but also to expand your network.

˗ Finally, attending Springboard is a great way to support higher education.

Our studentsAUC is a liberal arts college jointly established by the University of Amsterdam (UvA) and the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (VU). It is an intensive honours program that focuses on interdisciplinary education, offering over 250 courses in the Sciences, Social Sciences, and Humanities. In our academic curriculum, we have many disciplines ranging from Information, Economics, Art History. The motivated students who study these disciplines come from over 60 different countries worldwide building a strong international and diverse character within our student body. Our students strive for excellence and constantly perform at the top level, with more than 50% of annual graduates meeting the UvA‘s criteria for the Cum Laude distinction. Furthermore, we persistently challenge our students to become leaders and changemakers outside the classroom with our community project

and internship opportunities to enrich their skills and knowledge beyond academics. As an honours program and a university college (UC) in the Netherlands, we also often collaborate with other UCs such as University College Utrecht but also other honours programs in UvA such as Politics, Psychology, Law, Economics (PPLE) program.

However, AUC students will not be the only students present at Springboard. We will be hosting other University College students from all over the Netherlands such as Erasmus University College, University College Utrecht, Leiden University College, and also the PPLE students from UvA.
