World Blood Donor Day
• We conducted a special assembly on world blood donor day on 14th June
2019 .
• The theme of World blood Donor day for 2019 is “Blood donation and
Universal access to safe blood transfusion “to achieve Universal health
coverage.
• This day is celebrated to thank the blood donors, to acknowledge them
and encourage blood donation and new donors.
• The speech is given by T.R.Indhu of class 9.
• The Slogan for the campaign is “Safe Blood For All”.

Inter National Yoga Day
• International Yoga day was celebrated in the school premises on 21st June
2019.
• Children practised various asanas like padmasana, vajrasana, parvatasana,
vrikshana.
• Vaishnavi of class 10 has given speech about the importance of yoga and how
it is helpful to us in controlling our mind and body.
• Mrs.Jayanthi, Telugu teacher spoke about International Yoga Day and
suggested children to practice yoga every day.

Telugu Poetry Recitation
• Poem recitation competition in Telugu was conducted for the classes 1 to 10 on
19th July 2019.
• Children participated enthusiastically in the competition.

Drawing Competition
• Students participated in a drawing competition held on 2nd August 2019 at
Spring Board Academy.
• Different concepts were given for each class.
• This competition was conducted to bring out the creativity and the artistic
talents in the children.
• Students proved their creative knowledge, expressing different ideas through
their drawings.

Maths Quiz Competition
• Maths Quiz Competition for classes 1 to 5 was held on 7th August 2019.
The competition was conducted class wise and house wise.
• The concept for the competition was “Basic Fundamentals”. Children
were excited to give the answers.

Quit India Movement
• Quit India Movement was an important event in the history of Indian
independence.
• This day was observed on 14th August 2019.
• The ambiance was decorated to mark the day and students delivered
speeches.
Rakhi
• We had a special assembly for celebrating Rakhi festival on 15th August,
2019.
• Yugavardhan of class IX gave speech on the importance of the festival.
• Telugu teacher spoke about why and how the festival is celebrated.

Independence Day
• Independence Day was celebrated in the branch with a great zeal on 15
August, 2019. Pre-primary children dressed as Jawaharlal Nehru, Subhash
Chandra Bose and Sarojini Naidu
• Celebrations began with the hoisting of our national flag by the Chief guest Mr.
Sheesha Reddy, followed by “Vijayee Viswa Thiranga Pyara” which was sung
by the choir group. Principal delivered the speech.
• On this patriotic occasion, boys performed various postures of pyramid with
great stability and energy.
• Students from different grades delivered speeches, performed skits, danced to
patriotic songs conveying the message of patriotism and national spirit.
• The celebrations concluded with vote of thanks and distribution of sweets.

Sri Krishna Janmastami
• Krishna Janmashtami was celebrated on 22nd August 2019 in the campus.
• Students worshipped Lord Krishna and performed pooja.
• Students delivered speeches and performed dance.
• Students sang special songs and recited slokas. The slokas of the meaning
were explained by Telugu teacher.
• A few students dressed up as lord Krishna, Gopika and Radha and actively
participated in “Pot Breaking”.

National Sports Day & Telugu Bhasha Dinotsavam
• National Sports day and Telugu Bhasa Dinotsavam were observed on
30th August 2019 in the campus.
• Charan of class 9 gave speech on importance of sports day and spoke
about the legendary hockey player Dhyanchand.
• Nishitha and Bhavagnya of class 8 spoke about the importance of
observing Telugu Basha Dinotsavam.

Ganesh Chaturthi
• We had a Special Assembly on 31st August 2019 on the occasion of
Ganesh Chathurthi.
• Students from higher wing spoke about the importance of the day. Telugu
Teacher explained the way to perform pooja and Yugavardhan of class 9
explained how to celebrate the festival.
• Teachers created awareness about the importance of green Ganesha.
