Course Fees
Course fee prices are per course and are listed in the last column of the class schedule listings. Fees listed are lab fees, online fees and/or testing fees. Some listings may be combined totals for multiple fees.
Tuition Waiver for Arkansas Residents 60 & Over
As provided by Act 678 of the Arkansas Legislature, tuition is waived for Arkansas residents age 60 and over who wish to take credit courses. Eligible students must pay any applicable course/lab fees and purchase textbooks.
Refund of Tuition
Tuition will be refunded on a prorated basis according to the date of official withdrawal and the number of credit hours in which the student is enrolled. Course fees are not refundable unless the student withdraws prior to the first day of class. The Spring 2021 refund schedule is as follows: full-term classes dropped by January 26th receive 80% tuition refund. Information about refunds for Fast-Track classes which start later or are self paced may be obtained by emailing [email protected].

How to Read this ScheduleCourses are listed alphabetically by department. Please refer to the ASU Mid-South 2020–2021 College Catalog for course descriptions and prerequisites.
Types of Classes Offered at ASU Mid-SouthFace to Face ClassTraditional on-campus courses will meet in the assigned locations according to the published schedule. Class spaces will be carefully structured and enrollments limited to accommodate social distancing protocols.
Traditional Online ClassTraditional online classes are taught online for maximum flexibility. Course materials, lessons, activities, and assignments are located online in Canvas, the College’s Learning Management System (LMS). Students can plan their study time to fit their schedules. Students will access and satisfy course requirements within a flexible time frame with clear deadlines.
Hybrid ClassHybrid courses have a required on-campus component and an online component. The schedule indicates the day(s), time, and location of the on-campus class requirement. Class spaces will be carefully structured and enrollments limited to accommodate social distancing protocols. Students will access and satisfy course requirements within Canvas.
Flexible Delivery ClassFlexible delivery courses offer multiple content delivery options. Students may or may not attend class for each scheduled day/time, but should plan to be available during published times to attend as required, whether virtually or in-person. Any required class presence will follow social distancing protocols. In place of classroom presence, some online/virtual activities may be completed using Canvas. Students will access and satisfy course requirements within a flexible time frame with clear deadlines.
ASU Mid-South reserves the right to move instruction in any class to an online or other alternative delivery format in the event of a local, state, or national emergency.
