We are excited for another wonderful year here at The Westin Riverfront Mountain Villas. The resort team, along with your Board of Directors, continues to enhance the overall vacation experience at your Home Resort in order to better give you the opportunity to reconnect with family and friends.

Whenever you want to take advantage of the travel flexibility your vacation ownership provides, there are a variety of new villa resorts in great locations, as well as new vacation options for you to enjoy, which you'll read about in the following pages.

We know how important vacations are to you, which is why we’re committed to providing you with all the latest news about happenings at your Home Resort and in the local area, as well as at other resorts in the villa resort collection.

Resort Update RESORT ENHANCEMENTSAs part of our sustainability and energy-conservation efforts, in March we converted the guest corridor and elevator landing lighting to LED, which uses far less electricity.

At the main resort, there are several enhancements and updates:

• The artwork has been modernized in the hallway between the ski valet and The Market.

• New patio furniture is coming to the lobby terrace that overlooks the pool. It will feature umbrellas that have lights and heating elements. Three new fire pits have also been added.

• At Maya, the booth seating has been reupholstered, while new booths and tables in the bar area have been added. The restaurant also features new lighting and curtains that allow for the room to be divided into separate areas.

• At the Athletic Club, a Peloton exercise bike has been added to take your ride to the next level through an immersive cycling experience.

• At Spa Anjali, a salt wall has been added in the saunas to simulate the environment of Himalayan salt caves, which are ideal for relaxation and clearing the mind.

• An app called Press Reader is now accessible from the lobby, fitness center, pool and spa as long as you are connected to the resort’s Wi-Fi. This allows access to thousands of magazines and newspapers online.

• Through a partnership with GMC, there are now two Yukon Denali SUVs for use as courtesy vehicles, based on availability. In slower seasons, the vehicles will be used in lieu of the resort shuttle bus.

VILLA ENHANCEMENTS AND AMENITIESThe 2018 reserve plan for the villas includes funding for a variety of resort enhancements:

• The televisions and sound systems in each villa will be replaced following ski season. The TVs will feature larger screens and will be hung on the wall. The Bose® Wave® sound system is being replaced with a Bose Sound Bar.

• The duvets for all beds will be replaced, as will the mattress and box springs in the master on the one-bedroom side of the lock-offs.

LOCAL AREA ENHANCEMENTS• The town of Avon will begin a streetscape improvement project on West Beaver Creek Blvd. in front of Sheraton Mountain Vista

beginning May 2018. With the vision to make the street more pedestrian-friendly, the project highlights include wider sidewalks on both sides, a dedicated bike lane, on-street parking with outcroppings, a four-way stop and additional crosswalks at Sun Road. Once complete, West Beaver Creek Blvd. will be significantly narrower with a single lane in each direction and reduced speed limits.

• Through a grant from Great Outdoors Colorado, the town of Avon is building a Destination Jump, Splash, and Learn playground in Harry A. Nottingham Park. Construction began in October 2017, with the playground expected to be completed by the end of spring 2018. The location is directly behind Sheraton Lakeside Terrace Villas at Mountain Vista just off the path connecting to the park next to Building C.

• Zagster Bike Share has installed four rental stations in Avon for bicycles that can be ridden around town for easy exploring. Guests use a smart-phone to rent bikes any time of day. The closest rental station to the resort is across the railroad tracks at the Avon Transit Station.

What's New

THE WESTIN RESORT & SPA, CANCÚNThere’s now a new vacation option in Cancún with the renovation of The Westin Resort & Spa, Cancún. The extensive refurbishment of its recreation and public spaces also included the transformation of one building of hotel rooms to 44 stylish studio and two-bedroom villas. Boasting expansive water views, the resort features a brand-new sports bar and restaurant under the direction of renowned chef Neptali Haringthon. The updated Terrace and Lagoon Pool offers exceptional views of the Nichupte Lagoon where you can relax or catch a ride on the new Flowrider®. As we plan to convert to more villas over time, The Westin Resort & Spa, Cancún, makes an ideal location for your next vacation.

SHERATON STEAMBOAT RESORT VILLASDue to Owner demand at Sheraton Steamboat Resort Villas — the only full-service ski-in, ski-out property in world-famous Steamboat Springs, Colorado — we converted the remaining hotel guest rooms to villas, bringing the total to 181 studio, two- and three-bedroom villas. This alpine retreat situated at the base of Steamboat Ski Mountain features a heated outdoor pool, full-service spa, rooftop terrace with outdoor whirlpool spas, and an 18-hole golf course. We’re also pleased to share that the resort is now open year-round, allowing Owners even more opportunity to enjoy all that this resort and area have to offer.

SHERATON LAKESIDE TERRACE VILLAS AT MOUNTAIN VISTA

We are excited to announce that Lakeside Terrace has become part of the Sheraton® family and has been renamed Sheraton Lakeside Terrace Villas at Mountain Vista. Through the resort’s scheduled renovation plan, Owners and Guests now enjoy fresh and modern decor and furnishings, granite countertops, new flooring, an upgrade from queen- to king-size Sheraton beds in a majority of the guest rooms, and other beautiful enhancements. Located at the base of Beaver Creek in Avon, Colorado, these stylish two-bedroom villas create an ideal retreat to experience year-round mountain adventures.

SHERATON KAUAI RESORTSituated on 20 acres on Kaua‘i’s southern shoreline, Sheraton Kauai Resort offers immediate access to the pristine white-sand beaches and crystal-clear waters of Poi‘pū Beach. We are currently in the process of transitioning many Garden Wing hotel rooms to villas, as well as making enhancements throughout the resort. Whether you choose to enjoy the oceanfront freshwater pool from a private bungalow, the authentic on-site ‘Auli‘i Lū‘au or the many island adventures surrounding you, Sheraton Kauai Resort is a desirable retreat on the Garden Isle. The first phase of work is scheduled to debut in early 2019. Until then, Owners can continue to access this resort through the SPG® program.

BAJA POINT AT THE WESTIN LOS CABOSApril 2018 marks the one-year anniversary of the reopening of The Westin Los Cabos Resort Villas & Spa. Additionally, we acquired the remaining inventory at the adjacent property (formerly Grand Regina) and have included it as a “resort within the resort” named Baja Point at The Westin Los Cabos Resort Villas & Spa. The 32 two- and three-bedroom villas at Baja Point, all of which feature balcony whirlpool spas, are being refurbished to Westin® brand standards and added to the resort inventory to provide even more availability for our Owners to travel to this highly sought-after destination.

To pay for another VOI, select the specified VOI from the “Ownership Selection Tool” drop-down menu at the top of the “Maintenance Fee Detail” page and you will be returned to your “Owners Association” page with your newly selected VOI auto-populated in the “Select VOI to View” field, then click the “Pay Now” button. Repeat as necessary.
