To foster love of and pride in Australian cizenship and to uphold the high principles and presge of the Order of Australia.
The Order of Australia Associaon, Tasmanian Branch Page 1
Newsleer, Spring 2013
Message from the Chairman
How pleasing it was to see a
significant number of
Tasmanians recognised in
the Queen’s Birthday
honours list. This is a
substanal increase in
numbers compared with
some previous lists.
It is ancipated that our Post
Investure Dinner on the evening of 27th September
at The Royal Yacht Club of Tasmania will be much
larger with the increase in the number of new
recipients to be congratulated for their awards and
welcomed to the Associaon.
We will be very pleased to welcome and introduce our
recently elected Naonal President of The Order of
Australia Associaon, Mr Ross Adler AC who will be
a/ending with his wife and will be our guest speaker.
It is expected that there will be a larger number of
a/endees at the dinner so I suggest that early
bookings will be desirable. I will look forward to
seeing you there.
