THE SOUTH CAROLINA REVIEW is published in fall and spring by the Collegeof Liberal Arts at Clemson University. It was founded by Furman University, whereit was published from November, 1968, until June, 1973.

THE SOUTH CAROLINA REVIEW is indexed in Index of American Periodicalverse, American Humanities Index, and Index to Periodical Fiction.

The editors solicit manuscripts of all kinds: essays, scholarly articles, criticism,poetry, and stories. Manuscripts should be addressed to The Editors, THE SOUTHCAROLINA REVIEW, Department of English, Clemson University, Clemson, S.C.29631. They should be accompanied by return postage, and articles should conformto the MLA Style Sheet. Unsolicited manuscripts are not read during June, July,and August.

Subscriptions in the USA, Mexico, and Canada are $5.00 a year, $9.00 for twoyears. Overseas subscriptions are $5.50 a year, $10.00 for two years. A limitednumber of back issues are available for $3.00 each.
