Sports Report 2016-17

The year 2016-17 was victorious year for sports. Our college participated in 36

competition and 18 students were selected for Inter-University Tournament. Some of

our students were selected in National , state, & District Thus concluding on the note

that we see increasing participation from students this coming year.

This year‟s result encouraged us to aim higher and we tried our level best. As our motto

goes “We Live And Learn” that‟s exactly what we did to hold our flag up high.

Second International Yoga Day was celebrate on 21

st June 2016 as per directed by the

central Govt. Of India and Dr. B.A.M. University. M.P.Law College arranged special

programme on the occasion of world yoga day. The objective of this programme was to

create awareness of yoga and importance of yoga for students and Teacher. The

programme was organized on 21st June 2016. The volunteer, students along with

teacher and college nonteaching staff actively participated in it. Mr. Mukesh Jaiswal all

India University Player imparted some yoga techniques and method of pranayama. The

programme concluded with common prayer.

It was the greatest year in the history of Manikchand Pahade Law College as centre

Zone Fencing tournament Men‟s and Women‟s was organized in collaboration with Dr.

Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University in this tournament total 10 team had

participated.

From our college student Rohan Shriramwar was selected for 14th

world Arobic

Gymnastics Champion held in South Korea and our management encourage. And

financially supported by giving 10,000 and from college 5000 given, Devadi Shweta

Gururaj was also selected in Shooting Inter National Player management and college

given 30000 and 20000 for purchase equipment.

Also the adventurous feel and atmosphere for healthy mind of students like „ Trecking „

Activity is carried out Ultimately this all leads to healthy mind , good qualities , of

leadership , unity &Self-discipline among students.

The M.P. Law College proud of laying equal stress on games and co- curricular

activities along with academics. Our participation and achievements this year have been

encouraging. This year our college participated in 18 games and more games has to be

participated some of our students were selected for Inter university tournament,

International, National, State and District level Competitions.
