SPORTS PREMIUM GRANTTo improve the provision of PE and sport in primary schools, in a sustainable way, the Department of Education gives every primary school a Sports Premium Grant (SPG). It can only be spent on PE and Sport. Below is a summary of how much money will be received by Kingsley Primary School, how we intend to spend the money and the impact we hope for.YEAR 2015-16 NOVEMBER AMOUNT 5358

864Allows children access to Level 2 competition with the possibility of access to Level 3 competition.

Children have a larger range of competitive activities to choose from and staff establish links with schools in the town.

Provides access to free PE courses for CPD, discounts on PE equipment and information to latest PE developments.

Allows teachers, TAs, lunchtime staff access to fun dance and exercise activities. The Virtual Dance Instructor allows users to choose from a wide selection of work-outs, tuition and dance classes. Each session can be tailored to different abilities and ages.

Two lunchtimes a week, every week for the academic year, a football coach is available for all KS2 children to improve their football skills. (Pupils requested this).

One lunchtime per week, provides Keep Fit session for Yrs 4,5,6. 2 x 0.5hr Improves chn fitness and stamina as this was identified as an improvement wanted by our pupils.

6 X 1 DAY KS2FENCING/R,KS1 FOOTBALL, DODGEBALL, STREETDANCE, LACROSSE, TRI-GOLF & ARCHERY. At the end of each term the children will be given an opportunity to try the above sports. This will hopefully encourage chn to participate in a new sport that have not been inspired by the more traditional sports on offer already.

Purchase of football boots; to allow access to coaching at lunchtime.

Provide and improve access to sports for all, including equipment purchase.
