The National Pole Vault Summit is a developmental clinic established and continued each year to promotesafety and encourage development of PoleVaulting at all levels through continued education. The Summit isstructured to meet the needs of all ability levels.The athletes, coaches, and parents are divided into the fol-lowing categories: Beginners–High School–College–Masters–Coaches–Parents. By taking a grass rootsapproach to the conceptual development of safe modern pole vaulting, the activities, drills, and participationgroups are specifically set up for all beginner and high school athletes according to their ability level. Thisstructure provides a “learn by doing” environment overseen by National Pole Vault Development StaffMembers. Lectures and breakout sessions promote and encourage discussions specifically for all college,open, and master athletes, as well as, coaches and parents.

This event specifically focuses on pole vault development with attendance by National and Regional Staff,influenced by the National Men’s and Women’s Pole Vault development chairmen and utilizing all the bestcoaches from across the globe to further develop our future stars of American Pole Vaulting. UCS Spirit isproud and honored to have developed an event of this magnitude and recognition. Our vision remains todevelop and evolve the sport.

Angulax 3000 Design - The inner part of the front unit isconstructed with a 30° angle.This design allows front units to beplaced directly on the back & side edges of the vault box withoutimpeding the bend of the pole or requiring a box collar. Specifythe Angulax 3000 Design for Pole Vault Pits only.

FUTURA 6000 POLE VAULT STANDARDSAdjusts at the top with a turn of the dial!

The Futura Series Standards have been featured at the last four NCAA Championships and 2004Olympic Trials. The Standards place the crossbar in the desired position by turning a dial at eyelevel (C). Settings are from 17.75" (45cm) – 311/2" (80cm) (the settings allowed by the NCAA).Standards are available in 10' (3.05m) – 21' (6.4m) or 8' (2.43m) – 17' (5.18m).

Manufactured out of aluminum and stainless steel, the elliptical main and telescopic (A) sections are designed for extrastrength and come with a 10-year Guarantee against defective materials and workmanship.This is a very stable stan-dard that will take less than five minutes to set up each time! Standards come complete with 2" Vertical ProtectionPads (B) and Base Protection Pads. The optional Extenders provide additional crossbar placement points, a total ofthree feet lower. EACH CURBING SYSTEMIS CUSTOM ENGINEEREDFOR YOUR FACILITY.Available in standard 20’(6.10m) sections that easilyinterlock for perfect align-ment. The interlocking design min-imizes the number of holes drilled andallows for quick removal of sections forjavelin runway, water jump approach,main-tenance equipment and vehicles. UCS curb-ing sections are numbered for aid in installa-tion and come complete with pins and groundsleeves for setting into the track (photo A). MODEL #712-1250 COMMUNICATION B0X FORARTIFICIAL TURF OR GRASSThe Model 1250 and cover should be wrapped with artificial turf (provided by thecustomer) to match the surrounding field. For turf fields, the installer brings the arti-ficial turf over the edge of the box and uses the turf clamps to anchor it securely inplace. The top cover is locked in place by toggle locks. The cover has a 1/4" aluminumplate and a 3/4" plywood layer. The turf is secured to the plywood layer and thenscrewed to the aluminum plate. The hand hole lids,manufactured with a 1/4" aluminumplate and a 1/2" plywood layer, are wrapped with turf and lock securely into the maincover. During events, wires are passed through the wire chase on the cover open-ings, while the hand hole lids are in place. Openings on the 712-1250 cover meas-ure 61/4"x 81/8".

For use in natural grass fields, cover and box should be upholstered with turf (seephoto above). Grass or sod can then be installed right against the side of the box.

ELITE BOXESA UCS original, these fully padded Plyo-Box sets (26" x 26" x specified height:measuring 24", 18", and 12") notonly provide protection from the common plyo-box injuries but give any weight facility a professional look. Theunderstructure of this equipment is comprised of the finest 3/4" oak covered in a dense foam which is uphol-stered in tough 38oz Boltaflex vinyl. Each corner is strengthened with two stainless steel “L” brackets. A raisedlip on all boxes allows for stacking and locking of the lids. The 24" box is bottomed with 3/4" high density rub-ber for stability. With four primary pads and four curved corner pads there are no sharp edges or dangerouscorners exposed to the athlete. Stainless steel handles are recessed on two sides of each box. Each pad is indi-vidually replaceable.
