Attachthespeedometersensorontherightforkofthefrontwheelusingtwoofthecabletiesprovided.Makesurethesensoriscurvedtowardthewheel,andthatthesmoothsideofthecabletieisfacingout.Donotfullysecurethecabletiesyet,asthesensorlocationmightrequiresomelateradjustments(Figure 2).Clamptheroundmagnetonaspokeontherightsideofthefrontwheel(Figure 1).Adjustthepositionofthemagnetsothatwhenthewheelspins,theflatsideofthemagnetpassesinfrontofthesensor(Figure 2).Adjustthesensorandmagnetlocationsothatclearancebetweenmagnetandsensorisnotgreaterthan1/5"(5mm)(Figure 3).Oncewellpositioned,securethecabletiesontheforkandtightenthemagnetscrewonthespoke.Note:Usecautionwhentighteningthescrewonthespokeasovertighteningcanstripthethreads.

Attachthemountingbrackettothehandlebarwithcordfacingtowardseat.Ifnecessary,usetherubbershimsprovidedtoobtainasecurefitonthehandlebar.Notethatthereisarubbershimalreadygluedinsidetheclampthatcaneasilyberemovedifneeded.Bracketcanbeattachedtoeithertheleftorrighthandsideofthehandlebar.

Routethesensorwireuptheforkblade,usingthetwist ties to secure it at the bottom and crown.Wiremustnothangloosely.Leaveenoughslacktoallowwheel to turnrightand left freely.Route theremaining wire around the front brake cable andto the handlebar. Excess wire should be carefullyloopedandsecuredtothestemwithatwisttie.Note:Makesuretwisttiesdonotinterferewithsafeoperationofbicycle.

baTTERy INSTallaTION

Remove the battery cover from the back of the computer using a coin. Install the battery with thepositive(+)polefacingoutandreplacethecover.Shouldthecomputerscreenshowirregularfigures,takeoutthebatteryandinstallagain.Thiswillclearandrestartthecomputer.

Battery(1.5V/L1142)

Afterinstallingthebattery,thedefaultwheelfactor‘2124’willappearwiththedigitfurthesttotherightblinking.Thisisthecorrectsettingfora26.6"(700x25C)tire.Ifthisisyourwheelsize,presstheupperbuttonfourtimestoconfirmeachoneofthefourdigits. If this isnotyourwheelsize,usetheWheel Diameter Size Chartonthenextpagetofindthecorrectwheelfactor(c).Intheeventyourtiresizeisnotincludedinthischart,multiplyyourwheeldiameter(d) inmillimetersby3.1416todeterminethecorrectwheelfactor(c).Toenter the correctwheel factor into the computer, pressthe lower buttonuntil thecorrectdigit appears.Press theupper button to lock in the correct digit. Repeat until allfourcorrectdigitsareentered.Toreturn to theWheelSizeInputscreenatanytime,pushtheMaJOR FUNCTIONresetbuttononthebackofthecomputer(seeRESET FUNCTIONS - baCksection).

OncetheWeightunitisselected,thecomputerwillasktheusertoenterhis/herweight.ThiswillallowthecomputertoaccuratelyestimatethenumberofCaloriesBurnedwhileriding.To enter the correctweight, press the lower button until the correct digit appears. Press theupperbuttontolockinthecorrectdigit.Repeatuntilalldigitsareentered.Note:Theweightenteredshouldbebetween80–499Lbsor35–199Kgs.Thecomputerisnowinspeedometermodeandisreadyforuse.

Dirige el cable del sensor hacia arriba de lahorquilla; usa las ligaduras para sujetarlo en laparte inferior y superior. El cable no debe que-dar suelto. Deja espacio suficiente para que larueda pueda girar libremente hacia la derecha eizquierda.Pasaelrestodelcablealladodelcabledel freno delantero y dirígelo hacia el timón.Debes enrollar con cuidado el exceso de cable yasegurarloalabarraconunaligadura.Nota:Asegúratedequelasligadurasnointerfieranconelbuenfuncionamientodelabicicleta.

Usa una moneda para retirar la tapa del compartimento de la pila en la parte inferior de la unidadcomputarizada.Instalalapilaconelpolopositivo(+)haciaafuerayvuelveacolocarlatapa.Encasodequelapantalladelacomputadoramuestrecifrasirregulares,sacalapilayvuelveainstalarla.Estoborrarálapantallayreiniciarálacomputadora.

Pila(1.5V/L1142)

Después de instalar la pila, el factor predeterminado de la rueda ‘2124’ aparecerá con el dígitodestellandoenel extremoderecho.Ésteesel ajustecorrectoparauna llantade26.6" (700x25C).Siésteeseltamañodetullanta,oprimeelbotónsuperiorcuatrovecesparaconfirmarcadaunodeloscuatrodígitos.Siéstenoesel tamañode tu llanta,usa laTabla de diámetros de ruedasen lasiguientepáginaparabuscarelfactorcorrectodelarueda(c).Encasodequeeltamañodetullantanoesté incluidoenesta tabla,multiplicaeldiámetrode la rueda (d) enmilímetrospor3.1416paradeterminarelfactorcorrectodelarueda(c).Para introducir el factor correcto de la rueda en lacomputadora, oprime el botón inferior hasta que el dígitocorrecto aparezca. Oprime el botón superior para fijar eldígitocorrecto.Repiteelprocedimientohastaqueterminesde introducir los cuatro dígitos correctos. Para regresar ala pantalla de Información del tamaño de la rueda encualquier momento, oprime el botón de restablecimientode FUNCIONES  PRIMaRIaS en la parte trasera de lacomputadora (véase la sección RESTablECIMIENTO  DE FUNCIONES - aTRáS).

Retirezlecouvercledelapiledel’arrièredel’unitécentraleàl’aided’unepiècedemonnaie.Installezla pile avec le pôle positif (+) vers le couvercle puis remettez celle-ci en place. Si l’écran affichedes calculs incorrects, sortez la pile et installez-la à nouveau. Ceci remettra à zéro et redémarreral’unitécentrale.
