Fully integrated products allow seamless data exchange within an agency’s divisions as well as with other public safety agencies.
Dual-platform options support both UNIX and Windows operating systems.
Spillman’s groundbreaking Visual Involvements® feature enables users to see relationships between data and more effectively analyze complex information.
An open-database design helps agencies meet specialized information needs by providing read-and-write options to access the Spillman database.
A single-source database reduces duplicate entry and ensures the highest standards for data accuracy and usability.
Unsurpassed search capabilities allow information to be easily accessed from virtually anywhere in the system.
Industry-leading information-sharing capabilities allow multiple agencies to use a single database and securely exchange information as well as facilitate interoperability between agencies using different software systems. In fact, 80 percent of our customers use Spillman software to share data with anywhere from two to 51 other Spillman and non-Spillman agencies.
Spillman past to present
Richard Spillman developed the original idea for Spillman Technologies in
the late 1970s while designing an accounting system for Cache County, Utah.
Through collaboration with several county officials, including the sheriff’s
office, he learned that the county’s real need was for a comprehensive law
enforcement information management system. He soon found that the
need was not unique to Cache County – it was industry-wide.
In 1982, Spillman Technologies was founded. Since then, Spillman has
worked to continually improve its software solutions. Today, nearly 50,000
public safety officials in 36 states across the nation serve their communities
with Spillman software. Nearly half of the company’s total customer base
has been using Spillman software for more than 10 years, and 23 percent
have used Spillman for more than 15 years. For four consecutive years,
Inc. magazine has named Spillman as one of the 5,000 fastest-growing
companies in the nation.
The company has grown from three employees to nearly 200 employees
dedicated to client-and-product-focused tasks, such as technical support,
research and design, and account management.
