Respected Principal, Teachers And my Dear Friends .Today I Saurabh Anand of XI C stand before you all to share something about a very common problem i.e. Stage Fear. Stage Fear is a condition of mind which may arise in person when he is to perform in front of an audience actually or indirectly (i.e. in front of a camera). Stage Fear is seen in people of all experiences and backgrounds, those completely new to the platform or those with experience of many years all may face situation of stage fear. It also effects actors, musicians, dancers, and politicians. Stage fear may be seen in School situations like stand-up Projects and speeches in assembly. This anxiety usually has physical symptoms that may include a racing heart, a dry mouth, a shaky voice, blushing, trembling, and sweating. Due to it blood vessels in the extremities constrict". This can leave a person with the feeling of cold fingers, toes, nose, and ears. The best way to overcome stage fear is practice. Be completely prepared and thorough in your content before facing the stage. Be calm, think positively and breathe evenly and if possible listen to music before going to stage. Make an eye contact with audience. And most importantly if you are giving a speech focus on the speech’s content rather than audience response. I hope these ways will help you to overcome the problem of stage fear. Thank You
