SCOPE OF WORK FOR PH-1 RECLAIMER MAIN TRAVEL DIGITAL DC DRIVE

1.0Introduction to system

Two (02) numbers 8kW rating DC motor is used for main travel of reclaimer. Both motors accurate speed control is required for efficient operation of reclaimer.

Motor Name plate details DC SHUNT MOTOR, KW-8 , ARMATURE VOLTAGE- 440V DC, ARMATURE CURRENT-22AMP. BASE SPEED-1500RPM, SPEED VARIATION-150/1500/1500, EXCITATION- SEPARETELY SHUNT WOUND, EXCITATION VOLTAGE- 220V DC, INSULATION CL-F, PERMISSIBLE OVER SPEED 1800RPM, IP55, RATING-CMR,

2.0Scope of work

Supply of required hardware (DC drive Panel) & software, Installation, testing & commissioning of complete system, the drive panel should houses all the required accessories & ready to terminate DC motor power cable, aux relays, power contactor, digital display panel for current voltage etc, bottom entry gland plate with suitable openings, On site training for operation of above system to PURCHASER staff. Vendor should get the drawing approval for proposed drive and power distribution SLD for panel before supplying the material.

3.0Commissioning ---

Vendor shall be handed over the existing DC motor control panel in working condition. Vendor shall replace the new DIGITAL DC DRIVE PANEL in place of existing DC control panel. After replacing new DC drive panel vendor shall show the normal operation, control etc. of the reclaimer main travel.

Any other item required for making the system work except those covered in the order shall be the responsibility of the vendor unless until it is specifically informed at the time of submission of the bid.

4.0Job Completion Time

Four (07) days from handing over of the site. Exact date shall be communicated later on.

5.0Documentation

Six (06) hard copies of technical manual of DIGITAL DC DRIVE to be submitted .

6.0Warrantee -

12 months from the date of commissioning.

7.0Exclusions

The following items are excluded from scope of vendor

1. Power cable for incoming supply

2. Digging & reinforcement of cable trenches.

3. Laying of control cables, terminations etc.

48. Control circuit wiring The control wiring is of PVC insulated(660/1100VAC) stranded copper conductor, equivalent to 0.75sq.mm or higher in cross section. Each control wire shall be identified at both ends with ferrule number as per the drawing. To be confirmed by the party

49. Electronic Signal Connection-

-Use flat cables

-Use wire wrap connection using PVC insulated 0.4mm dia copper wire.

-Use of twisted wire of PVC insulated stranded 0.2mm copper conductor. To be confirmed by the party

50. Grounding & Earthing- Suitable provision of earthing shall be provided on panel. A ground bus of Aluminium size 5mmx50mm is run along the entire width of the panel for a multi panel line up.

51. TESTING & COMMISSIONING AT SITE The drive shall be commissioned at site by the vendor & provide onsite training to the PURCHASER staff for programming & Operation. To be confirmed by the party
