Šidiškis Short course description: This is the main performing art (specialization – winds and percussion) program discipline, which is designed for the development of the professional skills of a wind or percussion player. The aim of the course is to develop skills, knowledge and abilities, that make-up the basis of the preparation of a performer-soloist. The content of the studies consists of instrument playing skill development, artistic skill development and formation of a repertoire of various styles. This is the first level of a course that takes up eight semesters, during which pieces of Romantic period and other periods are studied.
