As one of the earliest foreign banks to set foot in Hong Kong, Citibank has pioneered a range of world-class financial products and services, including wealth management solutions, payroll services, investment services, retirement services and wealth and life protection.
To serve its clients better, Citibank operates through separate client segments, namely, Citibanking, Citigold, Citigold Private Client and CitiBusiness.
Innovation and excellence in client service are at the heart of Citibank's service philosophy. Currently, Citibank offers 24-hour, manned hotlines as well as branches that stay open until 7pm on weekdays. These services are designed to meet the needs of Hong Kong’s emerging affluent segment.
Citibank has also pioneered many industry-first services, such as priority and wealth management banking, touch-screen ATMs and internet banking, to name just a few.
Message from Ms Christine Lam, Country Business Manager, Citibank Hong Kong
There is innovation. Then there is meaningful innovation.
“At Citibank, innovation is at the heart of all that we do for our clients. We constantly seek ways to enhance our services and products through visionary thinking and industry-leading technology.
We also believe that with every innovation in business, there is one very important concern to keep in mind: the innovation must be a meaningful one, not simply new technology, but a life enhancing change from the point of view of the client.
We are honoured to be the title sponsor of the Citibank Citation for Innovation. It is our pleasure to play a part in identifying and encouraging the most innovative businesses in Hong Kong. The more that meaningful, customer-oriented innovation is acknowledged and rewarded, the better it will be for all businesses who innovate and more importantly, for the clients they serve.”
