• SPEAR provides enhanced platform andweapon survivabilitySPEAR is equipped with a precision effects warhead and willallow the warfighter to reduce the numbers of differentweapons within inventory while extending the operator’s air-to-ground capability far beyond the horizon. SPEAR willprovide high aircraft survivability with a low collateral damage.

• Two-way data link allows in-flight updates, retargeting andabort functions. SPEAR can be used in both Fire-and-Forgetand semi-active laser designation modes as well as fullynetwork enabled.

Warhead

• Multi-effect warhead with multiple fusing options allowingtuneable effects to target thereby enhancing lethality whileminimising collateral risk.

Propulsion

• Turbojet propulsion for high subsonic speed and long reachproviding operational flexibility and increased weapon andplatform survivability.
