DUNBAR SENIOR DRAMA SHOWCASE
Wednesday 10th February at 7pm in the hall.
This is an opportunity to see the work of the senior Drama exam classes.
The National class have been working in groups to research and devise their own pieces
of theatre from a range of stimuli.
The Higher class have been working in groups to explore an issue through research and
workshops. Each pupil is responsible for directing a short section of their own Drama.
We hope to see you there.
Valentines Cupcakes
What? Send a cupcake to your valentine or one of your friends, this valentines.
When? Orders will be taken week starting Monday the 1st of February till Friday the 5th in the assembly hall at break. Cupcakes will be delivered during registration on Thursday the 11th and Friday the 12th. The cupcakes will be priced at £1.50 (Pay when you order)
All proceeds go to underdeveloped countries to help young entrepreneurs build their own businesses.

East Lothian Council are keen to continue its tradition of harnessing and developing the talent of young people in the local area and as such are looking to recruit apprentices in the following
trades/disciplines:
Apprentice Joiner x 2, Apprentice Plumber x 2, Apprentice Electrician x 2, Apprentice Painter x 2
Applicants should be aware that they are only permitted to submit
ONE application for ONE of the trade apprenticeships noted above.
Each apprentice will be paid an annual salary of £12,099.82 during the first year of the apprenticeship (plus any pay awards) which will be increased each year of the remaining 3 years.

EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES – TRAINEE TECHNICIANS – AUGUST 2016 Amey are currently offering Civil Engineering employment opportunities for individuals looking to combine progressing academic studies whilst launching a professional career. Not only it is a real alternative to going to university full time but they will be working alongside technical specialists gaining practical work experience, whilst earning a salary. Individuals will work in a team, getting to know how the business works. As well as practical work experience, they will get a variety of training, including studying at a local University on a day release basis. They will also have the opportunity to participate on The Duke of Edinburgh’s (DofE) Gold Award.
