Nobody Quit Nal+ McPherson s casabarnen deserve a pat on the back. Ttie last whrstle has blown, and the Spartans finished third
iCBA play. 1* hnsn 4 been the easiest season on record, but it has nsost esciting and at times the most heart-breaking.
A* th. first of the season, when the losses piled up and the fans began vto cad the team -hard-luck," not once did the team falter. It came right beck and fought its way up the ladder to third place. In the process the/ dumped USF and Santa Clara, the first and sec-crid ,;til convincing victories.
And the fans, too. They didn’t quit. The stands were crammed with students for rrery game, even when we had lost five games a row’
The fans sat through those close games. They yelled and jumped up and down in their seats, and after the game they walked away %hali:ng their heads.
Then the Spartans snapped. They couldn’t do anything wrong. 1 ti e .on sis league games in a row and climbed Cron, rock bottom
