• Storytelling for infants runs on Thursdays throughout July. Details on page 10.

• Weekly courses for teenagers run in June, July, and August. Details on page 11.

Discounts (must be requested at the time of registration)

• Returning students receive a 10% discount if they enrol for another course in the same academic

year or the following one. This discount cannot be used in the week before the course starts.

• Receive a 5% discount if you register at least 3 weeks before the course starts.

• Because of the current situation, we are only accepting payment by credit card or bank transfer.

• All general Spanish courses require a textbook. They are not included in the course fee and are normally

available for purchase from International Books, 18 South Frederick Street, D2. They can also be

purchased directly from the publisher here or other online retailers.

• To accurately assess your current level of Spanish, we offer placement tests. These are currently free

and consist of two parts: 1) the online part can be found here & 2) a quick 2-minute speaking assessment.

After you have completed part 1, please email us to arrange part 2.

• Registration is binding. Enrolling in a course at Instituto Cervantes (hereafter ‘IC’) means the acceptance

of the registration Term and Conditions included in the enrolment form or available when you register on-

line through Clic (here). Please make sure you read the registration terms and conditions carefully.

• Our students will avail of a 10% discount if they enrol for another course in the same academic year or

the following one. This discount cannot be used in the week before the course starts.

• It is the responsibility of each student to request the discounts at the time of registration. Once their

registration has been processed, students are not entitled to any type of discount.

• The fee paid at registration will only be refunded when requested in writing (enclosing the receipt) before

commencement of the course. In this case, IC will retain 10% of the total amount paid as an administration

fee. Once courses have started, no refund requests will be processed under any circumstances.

• IC reserves the right to cancel the opening of courses when the minimum of students is not reached or

due to circumstances out of its control. In both cases, the full amount paid at registration will be refunded.

All courses will commence with a minimum number of five students, unless otherwise stated.

• Fees must be paid in full at registration and are not transferable to another person or another term.

Only when full payment is received can an enrolment take place.

• No reservations for places will be taken in advance of a course without full payment.

• Fees are reviewed on an annual basis. If any increases occur, it is from September and any change in

fees will be announced with one month's notice.

• IC reserves the right to substitute teachers at any point.

• IC will be responsible for the evaluation of the student and the issue of certificate to the student according

to its official rules and regulations.

• No allowance will be made for classes lost due to unforeseen circumstances (snowstorms, red alerts,

emergency drills, etc.).

• Attendance is the student's (or student's parent's) responsibility. We regret that it is not possible to make

up a missed class by attending another section.

• IC applies a communicative methodology. Therefore, classes are taught in Spanish from beginner's level.

• Classes at IC are occasionally used for teacher training purposes. This will always be under the

supervision of a Spanish teacher.

• Students should consider their personal commitments and circumstances before enrolment as we regret

that no fees are refundable once the course has started.

• No partial refund will be made for sessions not attended and no postponement will be allowed.

• IC reserves the right to cancel courses. In this case, a full refund will be made.
