It is most famous for its wines, manchego cheese, olive oils, garlic, and jamon. The food is heavily related with Albacete Knives from Toledo. Geography Castilla La Mancha has a wide flat plateau. The lberian Mountain and the Sierra Madre encircle this region of Spain . Rivers include Tagus and Guadiana , both flow eastwards. The Jucar River also flows in an eastern direction. The area around Cuenca was created by erosion. This land includes rock formations, such as la Ciudad Encontada. The entire area of Castilla La Mancha covers over 80, 000 kilometers of land. Economy

The region of Castilla De La Mancha has very little industry outside main cities, and lacks energy resources compared to the rest of Spain . The most popular agricultural products remain wheat, grapes, olives, sunflowers, and cotton. There are many petrol refineries around the capital. Many nuclear power stations exist as well. The whole region of Spain uses the currency Euro.

Holidays

The region of Castilla La Mancha has many public holidays that they celebrate. On January 6th, Epiphany occurs. April 1st, is Maundy Thursday, April 2nd is Good Friday, and April 4th is Easter. May 1st is Labour Day, and soon after comes August 15th, Assumption. On October 12th, is Fiesta Nacional de Espana, also November 1st, is All Saints Day. Finally, the last two holidays are December 6, Constitution Day, and December 8th, is Immaculate Conception.  

Natural Resources & Wildlife

The most popular resources in Castilla La Mancha are Garlic and Olive Oil. No natural resources are specially found in Castilla La Mancha.Wildlife consists of animals

that seek cool climates, such as bobcats and hare. These are the two most popular animals found. Although

Don Quixote was inspired by this land, donkeys and horses are not particularly popular in this region.
