When it rains, it pours! Stonyhurst Southville International School - MalarayatCampus congratulates our students for making it to the list of awardees for MathWithout Borders (Autumn Round) and International Competitions and Assessmentfor Schools (ICAS) in Science.
The Math Without Borders Tournament is an inter-national competition, first carried out in 2013 participatedby Bulgaria, Russia, Kazakhstan, Belarus, Turkey, Moldova,Uzbekistan and Mexico. It aims to highly promote theancient science of Mathematics. Meanwhile, ICAS Sci-ence assesses students’ skills in the key scientific areas ofobserving and measuring, Interpreting data, applyingdata, investigating, and higher-order skills. Below are theawardees:

Stonyhurst Southville International School –Malarayat Campus will conduct the First HolyCommunion for its Grade 4 Catholic studentsin response to its thrust in character andvalues formation. These students will receivethe Sacraments of the Holy Communion andConfession.
The preparations for the First Holy Communionshall immerse the children to the sacraments that willbe conducted by Teacher Patricia Miranda, CLVEteacher. Both students and parents will also undergorecollection scheduled on November 22, 2019, prior tothe First Holy Communion.
The Catechism, Confession and GeneralRehearsals are scheduled on November 26, 2019,Thursday, 8:00 AM, at the St. Therese of the Child JesusParish. This year’s First Holy Communion will be held on November 27,2019, 8:00 AM at the St. Therese of the Child Jesus Parish in Talisay,Lipa City, Batangas.

MATH TRIO WINS in SIPNAYAN 2019The trio of Prinxyl Shifrah E. Cortez (Grade 6), Jomer Wilson F. Lee
(Grade 5) and Michael Gerard R. Tongson (Grade 6) aced in Sipnayan2019: 21nfinity and Beyond, organized by the Ateneo Mathematics Society,held in Ateneo De Manila University last November 16, 2019.
Prinxyl, PJ, and Michael bagged the 2nd Place for the Grade SchoolDivision, earning them Silver Medals from the competition. Sipnayan is anannual interschool mathematics competition that provides an arena wherestudents engage in a cordial, yet tough battle of intellect, thereby enhancingtheir mathematical prowess.
