Types. Connecting dimensions and dimensions of sealing surfaces

GOST 12815—80

1. The present standard is related to flanges of pipelines and fittings, as well as conjunctive flanges of fittings,

machine fittings, fittings of instruments, pipe branches of devices and reservoirs at the nominal pressure Рnom from 0.1 to 20.0 MPa (from 1 to 200 kgf/sq.cm) and the environmental temperature from 20 to 873 К (from minus 253 to plus 600 °С) and to flanges with polytetrafluorethylene seals at the nominal pressure Рnom from 0.1 to 20.0 MPa (from 1 to 200 kgf/sq.cm) and the environmental temperature from 73 to 473 К (from minus 200 to plus 200 °C) and can be used for their certification.

The standard is not related to flanges of transport machine pipelines, if those flanges are not intended for conjunction of fittings or devices of general purpose, as well as the standardized flanges of GOST 1536-76 and GOST 4433-76.
