Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim Manager, Mike Scioscia, Mike Scioscia’s Amateur Baseball Development Group, the Major

League Scouting Bureau & the Urban Youth Academy will be hosting and

sponsoring the first Southwest Future All-Star Series June 5, 6 & 7 at the Urban

Youth Academy in Compton, California. These organizations have taken a pro active approach in the development of baseball in Southern California through grants, clinics, and showcase events.

These showcase events are designed to bring exposure to young baseball players in our region. This year’s Future All-Star

Series will feature top high school underclassmen from the Southwest

bringing professional scouts and college recruiters to the event.
