SOUTHWELL U3A HOLIDAY TO MALTA

2nd to 9th October 2018

The holidays group is proposing to organize a touring holiday to Malta in October 2018 provided that there is sufficient interest. The tour is in the 2017/2018 Riviera Travel tour brochure (page 178). Free copies of the brochure can be obtained from Hyde Barker Travel, 1 King St, Southwell. The holiday starts on 2/10/2018 with a 3 hour flight from Birmingham airport and is 7 nights (8 days) stopping in the Golden Tulip Vivaldi Hotel, St Julien’s Bay on a half-board basis (breakfast and evening meal). The included trips comprise of visits to Valletta, Gozo, Rabat, Mdina, the blue grotto, Hagar Qim & Marsaxlokk. There are 2 free days within the tour allowing for some free time. The return flight is on 9/10/2018.

The cost is £919 per person with a £119 single supplement (subject to availability, which, if we book early enough, there should be). As per the brochure, prices are subject to change up until the time a holiday is booked at which time the price is fixed. No bookings will be made (or deposits paid) until we have a viable group size (around 15 travellers as a minimum).

We appreciate that this holiday is quite some time away but we need to get serious expressions of interest in order to secure any spaces for single travellers and also time to negotiate any further advantages accruing from booking as a group.

If we have enough people registering an interest by the start of January 2018 then we will be asking for (non-refundable) deposits of £100 which will be handled by Hyde Barker.
