The week has seen a great start to Term 4 with the students seling straight back into their learning very smoothly. Term 4 will certainly be a very busy one with Kindergarten Orientaon, the Fete, Semester 2 reports, the Corroboree, Presentaon Night, Year 6 Farewell and lots more happening. There is so much to achieve and the me will fly past so quickly. Students and parents are reminded that school hats must be worn at all mes when children are out of the classroom. In the playground this week at recess and lunch every student playing on the oval was wearing a hat. Well done and keep up the hat wearing. In closing I would like to congratulate Mr Harris and his wife Ann on their lovely, friendly and very happy wedding during the holidays. The church ceremony was enjoyed by a large number of students, parents and staff. Welcome to Week 1 Term 4 South Wagga Bulletin

The week has seen a great start to Term 4 with the students settling straight back into their learning very smoothly

Term 4 will certainly be a very busy one with Kindergarten Orientation the Fete Semester 2 reports the Corroboree Presentation Night Year 6 Farewell and lots more happening There is so much to achieve and the time will fly past so quickly

Students and parents are reminded that school hats must be worn at all times when children are out of the classroom In the playground this week at recess and lunch every student playing on the oval was wearing a hat Well done and keep up the hat wearing

Free Graduated Licensing Scheme Information Session for

Parents of Learner Drivers in Wagga

Young drivers are three times more likely to be involved in casualty crashes Thats why the Roads and Maritime Services has introduced a new licensing scheme with more supervised driving practice for learner drivers

To help parents in supervising learner drivers the Roads and Maritime Services has set up a FREE 2 hour workshop for parents that offers practical advice on how to help learner drivers become safer drivers The session will be conducted by David Riches on Wednesday October 29th at the Rules Club (cnr Fernleigh and Glenfield Roads) from 530 pm to 730 pm

Early bookings are advisable so phone David on 0434 964 764 now to reserve your place or email saferlearnerdriversgmailcom

Student Banking is every Friday The P amp C receives a donation for every deposit a student makes Hume Building Society applications are available from school office

Fete Raffle Books of 20 tickets have been issued to each family Book numbers have been recorded next to your family name and will be marked off when returned Tickets sold or unsold need to be returned NO later than 31 October 2014 Anyone requiring additional raffle ticket books can collect from the school office

Silent Auction Donations The fete committee are now accepting donations of silent auction items If you know a business that is able to make a donation please advise the committee Donation can be dropped into the school office

Wrist Bands We will once again be selling wrist bands for unlimited amusement rides These will again cost $15 for access to all rides with a $10 band for children who will not use the bigger rides A single ride ticket is $4 Wrist bands will be available from 845am ndash 915am on fete day in front of the canteen and from 430pm onwards

Gourmet Food The gourmet food stall requires donations of Lemon Butter Relish Homemade sauces and Jam Showbags Our showbags are still great value at $5 each

White Elephant Stall If anyone had a spring clean over the holidays the White Elephant Stall is taking donations CraftPlant Stall We are seeking donations of craft and plants for this stall Craft items can be left at the school office and plants can be left at school on Fete day Wanted We require plastic bags for use on stalls These can be dropped into the school office Also we are collecting small and medium sized jars with lids for relishjam for the school fete Please drop them into the school office Please see any of the Fete committee if you have any questions ndash Tracey Cornell Helen Mundy Cathy Prescott Cassie Moore Brad Ruwald and Laura OrsquoNeill
