Michelle “Mo” Barre is a re red Air Force Colonel, having survived and thrived as a
mul ‐minority and non‐conformist in the military’s structured environment.
Not too many years ago, she showed up to a Region 14 Vienna‐Falls Chorus rehearsal “to
watch,” bringing along a laminated spreadsheet of all the reasons she wanted to try out
barbershop. She was immediately diagnosed as a
Baritone and hasn’t desired to sing any other part
since.
As a late‐in‐life barbershopper, she is grateful to sing
Bari in the Region 14 quartet, Twist of Fate.
When not singing, Mo is a
public speaker as well as a DC
Tour Guide (which is s ll public
speaking) connec ng with
audiences of all ages and walks
of life.
She leverages hard work and
an ability to view the world
through lenses of humor,

To call Mo “quirky” is an understatement, but she spends her energy
char ng a course for people who want to laugh, learn and think!
Laugh.
