Did the Sioux like war

• From the time they were little, Sioux men • Were taught that war was like a wonderful

game.

How would you travel

• The entire village traveled together. First the women took down all the Tipi. Then everything was piled together tipi pole, tipi covers, robes, clothing, ,and tools and dried food

• Everything was put onto a travois(TRAV-WAH) two long poles , with short poles across it to hold the loads. Horses pulled the travois.

What they looked like• The Sioux Indians did not have red skin.

No Indians did. the color of their went form very light to deep brown. Most Sioux Indians were tall and thin. Boys and girls, men and women wore long hair. Their thick, dark came down to their shoulders. Sometimes they wore their hair loose and sometimes they wore it in braids.
