Firmlyinsertthebatterypackallthewaywhilepressingthelockleverwiththetipofthebattery.

The lens

1 Removethebodycaponthecameraandpackaginglidontherearofthelens.

Donottouchinsideparts.Ifdustentersthecamera,itmayappearonthephotoimage.Donotleavethecameraandlenswithoutthecaps.Whenyouchangethelens,doitquicklyinalocationfreefromdust.

2 Mountthelensbyaligningtheindexmarksasillustrated.

Turnthelensuntilitclicks.Removethelenscapduringshooting.

1 Openthememorycardcover.

2 Insertamemorycardandselectthetypeofthememorycardyouwanttouseusingthememorycardswitch.

1 Turnthecameraon.

1 Set the mode dial to AUTO.CheckthattheLIVEVIEW/OVFswitchissetto“LIVEVIEW.”
