EXCERPTS OF DONALD BALLARD’S SPEECH TO THE YOUNG “I AM” STUDENTS

SANTA FE, JUNE 1969.

First of all, there is something in my Heart I want to say to you Beloved Children--

my Beloved Children; when I saw you here on the platform tonight, two words came into

my mind and stayed with it; those two words were "Beautiful People."

It really did something to me to see how beautiful the young people of the United

States of America can be; and I want you to know--(Applause) I want you to know how

much it means to me, both as a person, and as an American.

The first thing I want to bring forth to you, is to try to show you what is happening;

how the young people of the colleges and high schools in the outside world, are being used;

by what forces they are being used, and to what end!

The reason I say to you Children, who have gone to the "I AM" SCHOOL, you are

fortunate; is because your mind has not been indoctrinated with unadulterated

communism; to where all respect to God, Honor, Decency, and all the Sacred things of Life,

have been brainwashed from the mind of the children of the outer world.

The present destruction in our school system has a label that says: "Made in

Moscow!"--all of the ideas of abdicating and negating morality, and teaching that honor is

stupid; integrity is stupid; belief in God is stupid. These things have been foisted upon the

people, both of this country and the world; and particularly the children in the high schools

and universities! It has been done as a carefully conceived project, handled with a fiendish

degree of finesse and skill; that has insidiously invaded the educational system of the

United States of America for more than forty years, that I know of!

Before we can cope with anything, we must know with what we are coping! This is

the reason I am telling you these things, because as you go in the outer world; as you go

into the various walks of life, and the endeavors that you will go into, to create a life for

yourself in this world--you will meet these problems head on! They are anything but

pleasant!

It is to try to prepare you how to cope with these things that I tell you this today.

Someone once said: "God is dead"; and then a somewhat wiser person said: "The

God that man created is dead." The God that created man is very much alive! (Applause)

You, Beloved Children in the "I AM" Activity, have been very fortunate! I am going

to try to speed this up; because we have a lot to cover! One thing that you are very, very

fortunate to have, is the Understanding of This "I AM" Law! Let me say this: "There are

certain problems mankind cannot and will not solve until the Understanding of the Inner

Law as It is taught in the 'I AM' Activity, becomes general and common knowledge, among

the people of America and the World!"

One thing you must first understand, to establish a background for what is

happening, is first of all the Law of Re-embodiment.

A great many of the children who have come into embodiment at this time are

those who are what is generally referred to as the "war babies." They are those born during,

and right after World War II, during Korea, etc. They were children, not all of them; but

some of the ones who are raising some of the world's worst trouble today, are those who

were born when the atmosphere on earth was charged with a tremendous feeling of

destructively qualified energy of hate and fear and war!

Herein you have one of the reasons for the conduct of these individuals; because

you have a two-fold unfortunate action and reaction in this situation! One is, the hate and

the fear drew to the parents of these children a most undesirable class of souls! The other is,

that being born into the hate tended to down-grade rather than elevate those individuals

who did want the constructive way of Life!

Another unfortunate situation, and I don't know of any delicate way of putting

this, because there is none, is that a great many of these children were a biological accident.

This has a two-fold disastrous result, one being, from the Inner standpoint, it

draws a most undesirable type of soul. The other part of it is, in the affluent society, where

the child was unwanted and unloved by the parents to begin with--the first thing the

affluent parent does, when he becomes annoyed with the child, instead of trying to reach a

resolution of the problems between them, says: "here's fifteen or twenty bucks--get lost"!

Now everyone of you knows this is the Truth. Many of you, Beloved Children,

here have been fortunate to have parents who have cared for you, and loved you; and

people like the persons here in the SCHOOL, cared what happened to you; and what your

Destiny was. You are truly privileged individuals!

All the time the confused people are yelling for someone to "tell it like it is"! Well, I

am telling you like it is! (Applause)

I cannot help but again tell you, what happiness and an inspiration I received

when I looked upon the Graduating Class of this "I AM" SCHOOL. It is something to

behold!

I want to take you now on a little different sort of journey! To begin with, there are

certainly many things wrong with America, and some of the family institutions of America!

We, your elders, don't make any pretense of being perfect. We don't claim that everything

we have done in the past has been right; but we do, for the most part--most of us who are

honest and conscientious, and I think I am, claim one thing! We walk down the Pathway of

Life, and if our foot has slipped off the straight and narrow path, we once again return to it!

We have gone forward in life with one courageous determination, and that is to try to be

better--to try to be more like the Great Patriots--in a little way, more like maybe even

Beloved Jesus and Saint Germain.

We have never abandoned this Ideal and That was how we should live! Generally

those of us who make it, get the Ascension right quick! So we usually don't wait very long

to tell everyone else all about it!

I am going to quote one thing that was written in a book that was read to me when

I was a little child--I guess, oh, ten years old maybe--by Mama and Papa. We did a lot of

family reading before some of the experiences Papa went through, and the Revelations

were brought to Him. We studied--I can't even guess how many different kinds of

Religions we studied--but we did.

One little thing stuck in my mind, particularly when I get up against some of the

wild-haired idiots that want to tear American Society all to pieces. This statement was

made by an elderly Tibetan Lama, who was a very wise old man. He says: "Sometimes even

an insane man can be made to understand, that it is better to open a window than to smash

the glass."

When you think of it a little bit, that has a lot to recommend it!

These conditions were maintained up to and including World War II. Then the Soviet

machine which had been created to undermine not only our Beloved America, but every

Freedom loving country on Earth, started its insidious and vicious work in the educational

channels.

The rest is history. Now, I mentioned to you a little while ago, sometimes even an

insane man can be made to see that it is better to open the window than it is to smash the

glass. Under the tutelage of the representatives of the Soviet Union, what these young

people are trying to do today, is to try to smash the glass. They are trying to tear down

everything that has been built over long centuries, even before Roman times; and in

essence, reduce man to the law of the jungle!

From a Spiritual Standpoint, I feel it is my duty to train your minds for battle;

because of two things--one, by our use of the Higher Powers we know, we have mitigated

much! We will mitigate much in preventing the full thing that was shown to our Beloved

General Washington, in the Third Episode of His Vision, from coming into outer

manifestation.

We are well into the Third Episode. How terrible it becomes in the final stages

depends, to a very great degree, on how much of the Spiritual Force we can call forth! I

want to leave you, Beloved "I AM" Students, with This thought; and the older ones just as

well as the younger ones. Those of you gentlemen, who like myself, have ever walked

through the streets of wartime countries, bombed out cities, everyone of you will bear me

out in this, that we see some of the most unbelievable things happen in war. As I saw in a

Church in the town of Muenster, Germany the greater portion of the Church had been

demolished, but the Altar where the great and beautiful Statues of Beloved Mary and Jesus

and some of the Other Saints were, even though the bomb had had force enough to blow

the whole back end out of the Church, the Altar itself was almost in a perfect state of

preservation!

There you would see a house--the next one to it blown to Kingdom Come, and the

house next to it practically untouched. I want to show you the importance of the Protection

you can call forth for yourself and your Loved Ones; to carry safely through the last

Episode of Washington's Vision; rather than putting fear into your Hearts. There is no use

in kidding you, the situation we face is anything but pretty; and if I were to get up here and

tell you that it is all harmony, I would be the biggest liar in seven states.

Many of the Beloved Ones here, who lived in those countries during World War II,

their homes were untouched. As a matter of fact, I remember our Beloved Elfriede's mother

here telling me that their house in Westphalia, Germany, had come through the whole war

without a scratch. Her mother had been in the Activity for many, many years; and even

though she was on this side of the Atlantic while the war was going on, her Calls went

forward, and the Protection was given!

So remember, It is there! It can be had! It is yours to use. I want to tell you these

things to let you know that it is serious, but not hopeless; and I feel that these are the things

for which you need preparation.

Once again I want to tell you Children that I was so thrilled when I saw you tonight,

that the Call will forever go forth from my Heart, for your Protection as you go forward;

along with the rest of us, to try to liberate our Beloved Land of America; and I thank you.
