Glitter and Glue Decorate paper plates with feathers, cut-outs, stick-on jewels and collage materials to make masks or wall decorations. Cover a polystyrene egg shape with glue and roll in sparkly glitter – insert a bamboo stick into the base to make a pretty decoration for a springtime plant pot! Cover a polystyrene ball shape with stick-on gems, attach some pretty ribbon for a unique Christmas bauble! Polystyrene shapes are available from craft departments or mail order from BakerRoss – www.bakerross.co.uk Christmas Napkin Holder Cut out the 3 templates in coloured felt, foam sheet or strong paper. Cut ‘slit’ in both star petal shapes – place the two stars on top of each other – opposite ways – ensure that the ‘slits’ are above each other. Cut out the ‘bone’ shape, fold in half and push the folded end backwards through the slit. Open the ‘bone’ ends at the front of the flower, like the wings of a butterfly. Decorate the petals with stick-on jewels for a little bit of Christmas glitz! The loop of the ‘bone’ behind the star petal shapes can be secured to the back of the petals with a piece of tape. Roll a dinner napkin and pop through the loop. Bon apetit!
